A helpful hint if the carts are locked up like that. If you take your foot and put in in-between the two carts ( so your foot would be on the bottom bar of the cart after the one you're grabbing). Push with your foot and pull the chosen cart out. Most carts are just get pushed in to hard and the bottom bard get wedged

Around 30yrs ago, while deciding if I wanted to join Costco, I went to a store just to check things out (they gave a day pass for this purpose). I saw a woman and her daughter, both little people, trying to get a cart. I offered to help, which they accepted. I spent over an hour with them, walking up and down every aisle (they each had a electronic scooter). I ended up going thru the check out with them then helped them load their purchases into their van. An assistant mgr of the store was outside, and, upon finding out I didn't work there, offered me a job! He also advised the ladies that if they need help, to please ask. They have employees that would assist them the way I had. That made my decision to join Costco an easy one. Have been a member ever since!

Very easy to attach a bike basket on the back, or a radio flyer wagon that can snap on the back and be pulled. Had one for my power wheelchair, but I couldn't put stuff in it by myself without getting up/out/in my chair every five seconds. Since y'all are more ambulatory, could be a better fit - it's hard to do tight turns with the wagon behind, but keeps everything safe and secure, AND easier to bring into the house upon arriving home, as it's already gathered together and on wheels!
