Ahhh, the anxiety inducing tourist hoardes in summer in London, did that once back in the 00's. Pickpocket central there by Parliament plus the Gypsies trying to get folks money with the roses. If you go, October is a better time, much less tourists , less crowds and cheaper accomodation charges.
