One of the most significant effects of the pandemic is the decrease in demand after office space and increase in distance work. These will probably be lasting effects. It was not easy to walk especially during the winter months when there would be some ice or slush on the walkways. The wind would come out of the west and then be funneled and accelerated between the buildings. As you walked across an intersection the wind might even change direction as a different set of buildings had influence. Gosh, I didn't like it very much in winter.
