Also the lightning seems 'bigger' in all directions. Once you see it it's easy to tell. As far as I heard they'll fix that in the coming patch.

Lightning bolt that goes to the left is kinda vague but when it's 5* it gets bigger/fuller. That's how I could tell the difference

You might have missed it but com2us put up a notice saying that they changed the lightning back but gave an option to toggle it on or off at will

Com2us decided to roll back the purple lightning for now and will be introducing an option in the future to have it differentiated between 4-5* with blue and purple if you choose to, sorry if someone else commented this already :D
