Did this last week, and i have some tips for the book phase. First, you can world travel to check if any fates you need are up on other worlds. Second, you can find maps online which highlight map regions where mobs are, where fates will spawn, where levequest givers are and whether/which grand company they are, etc. This sped me up massively, look these up and use them, seriously. Last, check for fates as the absolute first thing, and then do other tasks instead of just waiting for them to spawn. Multitasking speeds you up a lot. Good luck guys 🫡

i have done multiple relics over multiple characters, Ragnarok Zeta i did 3 times as i main warrior and its my fav weapon glam. i can say with absolute certanty that the time that it takes to complete a relic goes up exponentially with each one. i did pld when it was a current quest, then warrior when i fell in love with warrior, then warrior again on 2 alts (lala second char and alternate on another data center) and a couple others for classes i like. currently working on PLD for the nexus glam for my lala alt because i have in idea for a glowy all over glam. i spent the last 2 years on books step cause they are just such a boring task, and i go all out on my lala for glam because thats litterally why i play her. so each one you do the time increases by months to years no matter how badly you want it lol. now i only work on it when im binge watching a series so that the waiting for fates and hunting enemies for books is more of a filler while i watch. i finally finished the books a couple weeks ago and i started books step sometime in shadowbringers lol i agree with you on the Warrior weapon, i love making fun warrior glams, i made a mad max outfit for my lala with feather head dress and leather parts that goes so well with the glowy red warrior weapon 1 edit- playing a class you like does make it much more tolerable so that would explain why i did warror weapon 3 times without issues lol

I think every one should absolutely do at least ONE ARR Relic weapon. It is time consuming, and you will one to pull your teeth right out of your skull with your bare hands, but it is worth it.

well that's the thing tho. It's 2024. Outside of glam, these weapons are sadly outdated. They were the best weapon you could have at the time. Level 50 ARR weapons. Ofc with the amount of better gear we have now, they can't hold up. If anything, they would have to go back and actively buff them but that would break power balancing since you can get them fairly early if you're dedicated to the grind

I have a little question about stage 7, I'm trying to craft them in advance, is it 1 of each (so 8 crafts and all that) for each class? I don't fully understand that step basically, and the wiki is a little confusing. So does each class need to accep the "A Ponze of Flesh"/"A Treasured Mother"/"Labour of Love"/"Method in his Malice"?

Yep unfortunately all need to be done for a single class. So all 8 items/all 4 quests to do for each relic!

@@SamsonGrey26 Well, Desynth cost me almost a million (I thought it'd be cheaper than spending 80k ish per desynth'd material ;-;) but I got all 8 items crafted 10 times for whenever I get to that step. Currently farming 10 atmas of each, Middle La Noscea does not have enough fates T_T

honestly I feel like adding weapons to the glam dresser is wasting slots, I have all the HW Relics, most of the ShB relics & all of the other expansion relics in one stage or another and have dedicated a retainer to weapon glams. it also makes switching out easier without having to run to the glam dresser! 😊

FATEs were always the worst part of this for me, from the Atma gems to the Books, because it's not only the one part you can't blast through at level 100, but you could be out there for *hours* without any drops or getting the one *specific* FATE you need, and it's the main reason it's taken me months to get to where I am (7/10 done with Books, just need BRD/BLM/SMN). It doesn't help either that some jobs are... not the funnest to play for me (WHM/BRD/BLM taking the cake in this case), and as pointed out, I saved two of my least favorite for last. All this and I've been doing the ARR relics before advancing the MSQ too far (so barely touched down in Stormblood), so the whole process in general has felt like a ball & chain around my leg, and then there's the Heavenward relic weapons afterwards, lol.

When trying to get the levequest you need to appear, I can unfortunately confirm that it IS possible to have to reset the list multiple times to get the one you need to appear. Easy way around this is to accept ALL of the available levequests, complete one, and then check the NPC. Since you already have most of the possible levequests accepted, this should essentially guarantee that the one you need appears.

Also you didn't mention this (although I can see in the video that you did this yourself) but I highly recommend putting the Sphere Scroll on your hotbars since the interface closes after every single meld attempt. Having to get to it through your inventory every time sucks.
