The simple answer is that there is no set duration. I think it's best to live under the assumption that they will never come back, that way it helps you shift your focus on your healing journey. If they don't come back, you won't be surprised. If they do, then you go from there.

Nobody should be playing these female games in the first place. If a woman tells you she needs space or doesn’t want to get back together, you oblige her and let her go and move on. Hello , I please need some advice Thank you learning a lot from you I please have a quick question I gave distance due to disrespect the first 2 days he called but I was still upset so I turned him away and he ghosted me for 3 weeks. So I wrote him a nice letter to called the relationship off and he answered and wish me the best. So I told him I needed to get my belongings. I asked him to let me Know his availability. He asked me about my new boyfriend so I told him, that was not my interest at the time. I told him that I excited being single again. I am still waiting for him to let me know when to come my belongings.
