Very useful formula. Just put brackets round (Tank Pressure - Residual Pressure) in the formula so as to avoid errors in calculation .

With COVID and HFNC, we are hurt flows of 55 LPM. Moot point on these.

A Full standard Oxygen E-Cylinder has 660 L of O2 at ~2000 psi. If you want to know how many Liters you have left in your tank look at the PSI remaining on the tank and figure out how many Liters are left. For example, you have a patient using a NC at 2 L/min, and the O2 tank pressure gauge reads 500 psi. set up this equation: 660L/2000 psi = (x) L/ 500 psi 660 L x 550 psi = 330,000 330,000/ 2000 psi = 165 L remaining 165 L / 2 L/min = 82.5 minutes
