I use a large ziplock freezer bag. Put simple green in the bag with the suppressor and parts. Fill unit up with hot water and place bag in the water. This process did an amazing job cleaning my silencerco hybrid 46m. I ran the ultrasonic cleaner for two cycles of 15 minutes each. I have the 15 L Creworks. Heat setting on it works great.

In an ultrasonic cleaner?
@TacticalBuffoonary12 күн бұрын
Just a suggestion for scientific purposes but maybe you could weigh the dirty suppressor before you clean it to see how much carbon buildup has been removed for a before and after comparison. I weighed all mine when they were new to find out how clean they were after soaking. If they still weighed more then new, I knew I needed to keep soaking .

I use hoppes numner 9 and charcoal lighter fluid for cleaning solution and i leave it in for a couple of hours. That will get that metal shiny on the inside.

Hey Anthony, am new to cleaning supressors. Can you share your recipe with the hoppes number 9 and charcoal lighter fluid for cleaning solution ratio and tenique you use?
@tony-ms5sf6 ай бұрын
@RickHunter811 you can also use wd40 but it's just a filler. Because I don't have a lot of hoppes 9 when I make this cleaning solution. I use one. Quart size bottle of hoppes 9 and I have a gallon of wd40 I bought from harbor freight. An I just add lots of wd40 till it's enough to submerge all of the gun parts. It's it's an unserviceable suppressor like the hybrid in the video. I do recommend maybe some kind of bristle brush that spirals to fit in suppressor. But I submerge the unserviceable suppressor in the cleaning solution I mentioned previously. And it has to be in there for a couple hours to be honest. But you won't be able to remove the lead fouling. I also have an otter creek titanium 22 suppressor for my 22's I clean in my ultra sonic cleaner
@tony-ms5sf6 ай бұрын
@@RickHunter811you can use the charcoal lighter fluid instead of the wd40 it works well also. I also turn on the heating element when it's in the ultra sonic cleaner. The fluids will not ignite from being heated. Unless you add a spark or something it will not ignite on its own from being heated by the cleaner

The total best degreaser out there is zep purple industrial degreaser it at one time was probably owned by Rubbermaid and under the label of purple degreaser... You can buy a 5 gallon square bucket at Menards for about $50 or less Someone I knew told me that they received a message from eBay that the vevor ultrasonic cleaners were not grounded correctly and you should not put your hands on them while they are running while connected to electricity/outlets or connected to power... And as for CLR, zep has a formula that is probably eight times stronger than CLR Use at your own risk, I have used them myself for things that I have needed to clean Please read the directions before using any of these products

I’m still not sure. SICO didn’t even offer an explanation either which is frustrating…. I’d like to know for sure so it doesn’t happen again. lol The only thing I can figure out is maybe the Neilson device 🤷🏼♂️?? I’d ran this on 6ARC, 5.56, .300blk, .458socom and .22LR with no issues but that 9mm…. Both barrels checked out good with the bore alignment rod and the Neilson Device is the only variable that was different.
