Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my KZbin Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

Did you know, 2 weeks before MCO there were NO Kabinet Minister Gorverning Malaysia for 48 Hrs? There was a political crisis BUT Malaysia Stay calm and avoid any street demonstration or mass protesting and waited the new Government to be appointed by The King. Logic dictates If Malaysian can act calm EVEN in one of the worst Political crisis For sure They can overcome the Covid 19 together. Bravo Malaysian!!!!

Just to add one more point, our forest rangers also being volunteers. Sending foods to aboriginies/indigenous people who stay far in the jungle using elephants. These people coming out to town sometimes to get food but during movement control order, all shops were closed & they can't get anything. I was one of the students that got stuck in my uni and we were provided with foods and a bunch of other stuff like pads, biscuits, juices, dry foods and snacks all for free and when the covid situation got better we were sent home by the government through controlled procedures and all the costs were paid for by the government (including flight tickets!)

I am Yuen from Malaysia and very proud to be a Malaysian Yes, our country has achieved and won the fight with Covid19 when all of us come together as one during this fight of this pandemic. Now our cases are low, only in 2 digits. With 3 main races and different religions, we can stay in harmony and help each other out no matter what happens. Importantly, no matter how rich or poor, we come in as one when crisis hits. I would say, it’s the best and peaceful country in the world.
