Hehe! Whoever regularly brings donuts to the workplace should surprise their colleagues - just once - with a box of fountain pens and accessories. That would be a more fun workday. And more healthy, to boot. What sort of pen do you use?

btw, I have a question. the blank notepad you are using is the clairfontaine triomphe as listed in the description, right? is the dotted notebook also the same, or is it a different brand?

Conan, Shaolin soccer and an entertaining narration. A woman of culture! Loved the banter and the inks. I was considering a 3pack of the asa gao, the black and the persimmon.

Thanks! It's pretty cool that Pilot offers these sets. One box of three 15ml bottles is about the same price as a single 50ml bottle. I think Asa Gao is the most eye-catching blue there.

@@INCWorks I think a few people prefer hearing about the inks, but in my opinion the visual tells me all I need to know. It’s ink, I really just like to see the color. Keep doing you , peace ☮️

Some lovely colors to play with! Spaghetti is indeed better the second day! As is chili. I miss those old "The more you know" ads. Kind of reminds me of the other ones...conjunction junction, I'm just a bill, etc. Haha, the things you remember from way back when, but not what you did yesterday. Sigh. Getting old sucks sometimes. If you have time, could you please let me know what you think the absolute lowest maintenance pen would be? I've tried watching videos and reading up on the subject, but there are so many choices out there, that I've gotten overwhelmed. I just want a pen to sketch with that is truly bleed proof, with the carbon ink. Should I use cartridges, or a conversion kit? Thanks for your videos, I really do love them! ♥

Yes! I was just thinking about Schoolhoouse Rock the other day, specifically the 'Figure 8' episode. They had such catchy tunes. As for low maintenance pens, the one that stands out for me is my PenBBS 494 with a fine nib. There's a video about it on my 'Fountain Pens' playlist. I've been using it for over a year and haven't had any issues with it. It doesn't use a cartridge or a converter because it has a built-in piston filling system. It's pretty easy-peasy. So as long as you have a bottle of ink, you'll be good to go. The PenBBS 494 has the added benefit of being budget-friendly at only about ten bucks. 😀 = If anyone else reading this has a suggestion, please share your knowledge and experience. =

Some of these inks look like they have a bit of dimensional pigmentation- makes me very curious To try! Stephen Chow… I must look for The God of Cookery!! Aside from Shaolin Soccer, Journey to the West is my personal favorite ❤

Some of the colors showed subtle sheen on the Tomoe River paper - most noticeable with Yama Budo. Yay! Some love for Journey To The West! It's pretty entertaining - my favorite part was the beginning with the monster fish.

@@INCWorks agree! The Pig Demon is pretty bad-makes the original Grimm’s Fairy Tales look like pablum😳 thanks for the paper tip-makes sense that inks perform differently depending on the paper.

Ma'am can you please tell.. Whether this ink has fading properties? Will it stay put for 3-4 months? Because I wish to write my exam with it.
@INCWorks Жыл бұрын
Hi, Abhidhamm Rajika. Pilot Iroshizuku inks are not archival - meaning they will likely fade over time. However, I expect that under normal circumstances (not exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods) that would probably take years to happen. If you want an ink with permanent properties such as fade-resistance and water-resistance, I recommend looking for one that's 'archival', 'documental', or 'bulletproof'. Rohrer & Klinger has a 10-color 'Sketch Ink' series that's waterproof and lightfast. De Atramentis has a 'Document' ink series consisting of 10 colors, as well. And I understand that quite a few Noodler's inks are 'bulletproof'. You'll want to keep up on maintenance with any of those permanent inks - to prevent clogging or corrosion - so frequent (perhaps once a month) pen cleaning/flushing is recommended. Have fun on your ink adventures and good luck with the exam!

😀Hi, Thomas - so sorry for the late reply. The pen is a Kakimori brass nib attached to a standard nib holder. There's an earlier video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2iwcqeerpuMndEsi=rJkXdDaCTJi5sPFG - that shows it off better while giving more information. In case the link didn't work, the video is titled KAKIMORI BRASS NIB: UNBOXING & FIRST IMPRESSIONS.
