Yeah, I agree. We never really get that anymore. With most of the tower videos within the last year and a half or so, we'll get the big drop at the end of the video, they'll give the video a wrap up, and then they'll close out the video with a slo-mo shot. But you're right. We never really get to see the full aftermath anymore complete with an analysis of what happened. I think back to the first several bullet proof glass videos where they dropped the bowling balls, giant dart, atlas stone, and Clayton. Those all had the post-drop analysis. I miss that too.
@iceman33173 жыл бұрын
I feel like this year hasn't been the greatest for them. Then again, they have been very restricted. I think they are just kinda get tired of the tower which is why we don't see it as much anymore. I hope they go back to what the used to do.... I don't know.... this year just hasn't been great. I do love their throwing stuff through glass videos though. I mean, they haven't even done anything with their game channel they made last year. Maybe they are just in the process of upgrading everything, which is why this year has lacked.

For everyone saying, “i dont think that can stop a bullet”, bullet proof glass isn’t made to stop a bullet withought a crack. It normally cracks the glass, but it doesn’t le the bullet go threw. You can see it in 12:58. The brass cube is extremely heavy. It cracks the glass, but it doesn’t go threw. This is even harder that a bullet since once the cube hits, gravity helps even more since it continues to push it dounward

Actually polycarbonate can stop a bullet depending on the thickness but it’s not a glass material, it’s a softer plastic. 16:47 If you pause it perfectly you can see a few frames of a tiny fireball. So much kinetic energy went into that touchdown that it combusted something.

I think that it would be a really cool video idea to do a redo of all the best drops from the tower but this time film them with the phantom.

The more I watch these guys, the more I think that all Australians talk about every everyday item like they’re talking to a toddler.

Just to be clear, (and because I'm a huge nerd) because you haven't locked the glass in place, it is much harder to break through. The energy being consumed by the "rebound" or "trampoline" is potential energy to break through the glass.

I knew it! Bulletproof glass is pretty much transparent steel. It's almost indestructable. And if there is a crack in it this pretty much means nothing at all. it requires very many cracks to only maybe mean something!

its not indestructible to bullets, if the glass was being shot by a 50cal you probably wouldn't survive

@@Renn13 and not only that it's not called bullet proof its bullet resistant nothing is actually bulletproof

16:48 exactly, did you see the flame? When the first spike connected, and was met with the resistance of polycarb, but backed up by 500 lbs of steel ball falling quickly, there was a bit of fire. It was quickly extinguished once the main mass of the ball connected, but still, what a drop; an unacknowledged first for the channel. Pressure fire, my dudes. Oh man, idea: drop the spike ball onto steel and see if they weld themselves together.
