I just eat at maintenance for a couple weeks then when I go back to deficit I lose all that weight and more. It's weird

Question. Lets say that you have been dieting for 14 weeks and you hit 90kg. Then suddently the needle wont go below 90kg for 10 days, only up and down above the 90kg mark. So for how long should one keep sticking to the calories before considering lowering it more? Is it normal/individual to stay stalled for 10 days before hitting a new lower weight? And lets say adherence has been on point (calories, steps, sleep, food ect)

If the weight doesn't change in 2 weeks, then decrease calories. Salt, stress (drastic or accumulated) can cause water retention.
