His outfit does change, but it's much subtler in these images. His shoes go from brown to black, then a different pair of brown. His suit seems to change colour between the ceremony and reception but the styling is similar. His tie changes. It might be more obvious in person. I genuinely thought the switch from welcome dinner to reception was a change in lighting, not a change in outfit.

@@MandieTerrier Girl it's just common sense. You NEED one dress so you're not naked. All the rest is a personal choice and depends on the budget you have available. As a European it's mindboggling to me how extremely commercial weddings are in the US. Here you have one dress, weddings are fairly simply (good food, nice getogether with family and friends, a good party) - no rehearsal dinners, no different receptions. The amount of money people spend on this kind of frivolity is just crazy to me. One beautiful dress of a few thousand dollars does the trick. You don't need 15-20k in wedding dresses. You don't need a 50-100k wedding. Spend that on a down payment of a house and on giving yourself or your future kids beautiful experiences in the years to come. And I make well into the 6 figures every year, so it's not a matter of not being able to afford it... it's a matter of just using your brain :p

Jesus, you took mads comment way too personally. She is absolutely right in that social media has altered how some couples/brides view a wedding. Instead of prioritizing the most important aspect of a wedding - marrying the love of your life with all the most important people around to share in the special day- many seems more interested in posting pictures and spending ridiculous amounts of money. While, I don’t have any issue with a bride wearing a wedding dress for the ceremony, and wearing something more comfortable for the reception, 4 expensive dresses is quite a lot for one event. If the only reason you have so many dresses is so you can get more pretty pictures, you have completely missed the meaning behind a wedding.

Marriage lasted 53 years until she passed away. just think of the expense and she will Never wear any of them again. Shoes to match each one as well. My parents eloped, she wore a little black dress and they went out to eat burgers and fries after. (I'm their youngest out of 5 kids in 5 years.) They just celebrated their 60TH anniversary. 💞 I wore one dress that I got on clearance really cheap. My husband and I are going on 35 years married. So, everyone is different & each couple should do what makes them happy. If I had done what makes me happy, I probably would have changed into a pair of comfy leggings and an oversized hoodie. 👍🏻✌🏻

What does spending money and being materialistic and self idolizing and attention seeking have to do with having a great marriage. This is the exact opposite of what is important in a marriage. What truly makes a strong marriage is love ,devotion, loyalty, caring, giving, nurturing, dignity, strong morals and values. No how many dresses one has or how pretty you are. 1 is enough!! I designed mine myself and my mom made it. I bought cream satin and a patterned stunning fabric with lace and embroidered gold threads at an Asian store for the bodice and sleeves. I designed it in a Viking style with a tight bodice with long trumpet sleeves and a a lined skirt with a train. It was beautiful. Cost me $ 150 plus’s thread and some lining. I wore cream pumps with a slight pearl a little heel and pointed toe. Shoes that’s I could both walk and dance with. To me it was perfect , wouldn’t have changed it for all the dresses in the world . Personally I think it’s insane to buy several dresses. Not just because it’s a waste of money, but several dresses will take away from it being a special dress to keep and cherish forever ! I also wore simple pearl and gold ear studs and a short gold and peal necklace. I did. my own makeup while at the hairdressers. No veil as I don’t like them..

My cousin did a similar wedding! It lasted two nights. First night was welcome dinner on the island (destination wedding). She had a casual white dress for that. Next day she had a ceremony gown, which is the main dress and the most expensive. For the reception she changed into another gown that was more glam, and after the reception, she wore a white minidress and mini veil for the after party at the rooftop club! 😅

Reception is usually with a larger group and includes family, the after party typically is when most everyone leaves and it’s your close group of friends and/or family

It is her wedding & if she can afford four go for it. Just don't get your family in debt for one day imo. I bought my dress off a rack & afterwards thought about the keep until you have daughters bit. Glad I didn't. Gave the head piece & veil to another bride & cut my wedding dress up to make christening gowns. Had two sons so even that was not really needed. Then big beautiful christening gowns went out of fashion. More importantly we are 49 years married.❤

Never heard of a welcome dinner. I had 2. Would have had just 1 but my dress was a tripping hazard for our first dance. So I changed into my hens dress for the first dance, but then was enjoying how easy it was to move in so much that i danced the rest of the night away in the hens dress.

Absolutely unnecessary. I wore one dress and it was overpriced even though some thought it was not expensive compared to others. Get use out of your one day dress and stick to your budget.
