How Many Hours Does The Dogu Express Really Take? Dogu Express, Ankara to Kars, Turkey.

In this video we took the Dogu Express train from Ankara in Western Turkey to Kars in the East. From Kars we travelled on to Georgia and then Armenia. We booked our tickets through Amber Travel which was recommend by the Man at Seat 61 website. Allthough we had seen countless reports of difficulties securing tickets, Amber Travel mailed us tickets the same day we sent them funds, we would highly recommend them for bookings. We booked all 4 beds in a coucette cabin. It costs €130 Euros , £108 pounds or $136 dollars all in.
