People really really really don't want to admit the truth to themselves. They avoid it like the plague. It's highly interesting. I've watched myself do the same in the past. But I just have to laugh, humbly of course, because I remember when the pure awareness within took over by force. Of course the me is in the lion's mouth and being devoured currently, so the I thought, isn't done, but that process starts, and there's nothing one can do about it. It's like being in a mental washing machine. Just let it happen. You'll come out pure on the other end. Just chill and allow and stop feeding your ego.

I’ve found that when I meditate, I need to continue to meditate. Once you start you can’t stop. It helps immensely to stay in practice. Meditation helps you awaken. Once you start to awaken, the world can become a burden and seem pretty mean and dangerous. Meditation helps relieve the burden and allows you to become more at peace with yourself and with the world. Meditation leads to more meditation and it’s good, because the more you do it, the better you become at it, and things get better. Things are already better, it’s just that meditation allows you to see that things were already better than your mind thought. Good video and nice stories. We need to awaken from the false sense of the self because that’s what keeps us in mental bondage. We are not who we think we are. We’re more. Awaken yourself now, because if not you then who? If not now, when?

Meditation is just another addiction. You will experience things when meditating, but they will not bring anything permanent. You can see this with kindergarden logic. How many meditators in the world? 50 million? 100 million? 200 million? How many of them awake? How many of them can stop thoughts by will? Maybe 10? Maybe 50? Maybe 100? There is no practice, trick or prescription which will lead you where you want to go.

How much can we actually wake up though? Being fully awake is a lucid dream in real life and whether the others have consciousness doesn't really matter when they are truly the infinite one consciousness we all wanna wake up to manifest our desires but I doubt many want to fully wake up because that's infinity and you can't perceive anything when you ARE EVERYTHING because there is no contrast, it doesn't even cut to black it's the same as none existence. This has become a serious issue for me how to deal with waking up while still living life, waking up too much is a very real issue to me at this point. I almost envy people who are asleep and have a good life and can actually feel lucky and appreciate it. Waking up can be very meaningless which the ego can use to create depression which of course is a fallacy since being depressed is applying a negative meaning to something neutral. I must however admit while in my most awake states or at least what I believe to be most awake they did feel very good at the time it's only after my ego came back online the negativity happened. When waking up I was just happy to have all the pressure to do or be somebody erased, to have the realization it's all in the mind and youve finally made it to this thing you've been looking for all your life that was actually just a state of consciousness and not a set of circumstances. In short waking up isn't always good and I'm sure many so called asleep people are experiencing great joy to the extent they can't comprehend. It seems once you get past the high extatic states you arrive at this neutral place, which is likely the truest state. Although the experience of good and bad is very real when you're creating it.

I had a girlfriend years ago who would give me the "why can't you just drink a couple" because she was more concerned about how my not drinking would look to her friends. Just keep curing fears for now if you haven't awakened, cure karma once you awaken cause SOON you won't have a choice to awaken it will be forced, you can accept it and charge at karmic debts or you can die. You can spot the unawakened because they are waiting for Jesus, I am working for Jesus. You know, it's hot here today and there'd be no practical reason to put on clothes... other than I'd probably get arrested if I don't get dressed when I go outside. No real reason to talk either when one feels inner stillness, right? That joyous inner state of freedom seems natural and easy sometimes, but then what would society do to a naked guy who doesn't want to talk to anyone, right? Seems like waking up is easy, but being awake around others forces the mental bondage of "who do I need to pretend to be so that these people don't mess with me?" flares up and the game continues. lol

As the awakening process deepens within you my friend you can have the inner strength to be in the world but not of it. At times the mental noise from worldly relationships may shake up your own mental identification but you’ve gone through the practice enough to just observe, stabilize, and re center within that deep spacious presence and all is well, no harm. We can’t unbecome what we truly are, nor harm or lessen the inherent purity within that conscious state in any way, in fact a little friction for presence to work through and become stronger is good for our natural state even tho that can be annoying to the separate self at times lol this process of feeling friction, observing it, thus awakening more and more, is like doing bicep curls for your true natural state. I once heard that said in that way, and it’s been true for me in my experience. Hope this reply finds you well brother peace and love.

@@eliasparker5113 Yes indeed, good reply! Thank you. The integration of being free on the inside while bound by the body or society's needs on the outside is indeed a practice. I'd say it's a fairly advanced game in that respect and to frame it in the way that you did (resistance and friction leading to growth) is an advantageous framework. That being said, I can see how that approach might also calcify into another mental limitation and could censor and delay realization because it still presumes the world is a thing to be managed by a mind.

i pray to god , but my dreams and goals i work towards are based on entrprenuership and i desire a loving wife and family (my own kindom in a mission through a project i love working on i guess) i used to be despressed and adopting this way of life has cured it, i understand that if i get a ferrari one day though that the headturn's on the street will not cause fullfillment and that is not the motivation , i try and remove dopamine like social media and meditate , i am new to all this spirtual stuff , does that mean that everything im working towards in my life is wrong and a waste of time ? , what is the other alternative ?, i dont understand your belifs on how life works or the after life , i dont know which videos of your's to watch , how can you be sure , maybe everything just goes black when you die and thats it , im open to anything and i dont want to waste lifetimes wondering and picking the wrong thing in an endless cycle of pain i just want to achive contentment in whatever the situation , how the hell do i navigate that lol.

According to Yogananda who I've been reading, the objective of the yogic path is to discover the causeless joy of the soul's real nature. Of course maybe there is a part of the soul whose "joy" is to remain unmanifest but that doesn't have to be today's motivation
