0 2 5 is generally better because the x 1 x gives 3 more projectiles, so the Avatar deals like 1.6x more damage just from a projectile increase. The top path gives pierce(+1 i think), lead popping and lightning, which deals 1 dmg. So 0 2 5 is better. Sorry for the somewhat long explanation and I hope it helps
