Wow, David Bird's little Becorn people are adorable!! I have about 3000 acorns in my yard and on my roof! (Well, I didn't count them, but they are everywhere!!). I actually brought some in the other day, trying to find one with the cap still on, but usually when they fall the cap will come off. I found a couple and then later that night I used watercolor pencils to draw one with a leaf, stem, and the acorn. It turned out pretty good for me! When you look at it you can tell right off that it is an acorn, leaf, and stem, all together!! LOL I wonder if I could make an acorn person? Hmmm.... They are so cute. Then he spends hours and sometimes it takes day to get the perfect picture taken with a critter and his little Becorn person! Great patience there, but great photos! I have to get someone to come clear my roof, and they use one of those wide push brooms to get the roof clear of acorns, leaves, limbs, and whatever else might be there. Shouldn't be anything else but what I mentioned!! You can hear the rolling of the acorns when they do that!! So many!! Four pages done, so you have done great!! Loved seeing all the gnomes, and your outside frog that blended in so well, was the cutest ever!!

Hmmm.... do you have to be careful that they don't bop you on the head when you walk out the door? 🤣 Delighted to hear that you did a sketch and watercolor of one with a leaf! I bet it's lovely!
