The two of you will forever be part of the chateau. Without you it wouldn’t have been saved. Your love for detail, your craftsmanship, determination, perfectionism and respect for the building, not only saved it. You didn’t renovate it. You restored it back to its original beauty!!! Thank you for sharing your journey. I watched all episodes and enjoyed them very much. Seeing your recent post with family, you’ve made the right decision by prioritizing family over the chateau. There will always be another project. Now, the grandkids are more important.

Every time I watch episodes looking back at the chateau, I am totally thunderstruck by all the endless work you guys did during your time there! You accomplished an amazing amount of beautiful restoration! I doubt the chateau ever looked as beautiful as when you guys completed that grand salon, and all the lovely flooring you replaced. I hope the new owner fully appreciates the labour of love and sweat they have acquired. Bravo, Carole, Adrian and Beth! ❤️😘💐🥂

I agree that Carol’s work in the grand salon was indescribable at times. It wasn’t only her ability and skill, but also her divine level of patience. It was not a job that could be rushed if you wanted it to be done right. You have been both amazing at restoring this beautiful building and have given us an insight on how to reconstruct a fabulous chateau such as this. I cannot tell you how much I have learned watching you and other people who are not afraid of hard work. I have actually been encouraged to do some work on my house as well. I redecorated my bedroom and bathroom which included not only painting but installing board and batten all by myself. I’m 80 years old so it wasn’t easy bringing the materials up a full flight of stairs. Right at this moment, I’m redoing my teak patio furniture and completely rearranging the backyard which happens to be rather large. I mention this because you and others DIYers, gave me the courage to start projects that I had been afraid of. They were projects that I could not afford to hire others to do because labor in California is through the roof, so for some of us is learn to do it and go for it yourself, or it doesn’t get done. Lots of luck to you and continue to laugh. There’s no sense in crying or getting angry because that can only destroy your dreams or desires. Stay golden!!!

Hi All! Hope you are all well. I agree with Adrian. The Salon was a masterpiece 🙌. But also in fairness. I think the work Adrian put into the flooring was a labour of love and required soooo much patience. And turned out beautifully. I also was looking forward to seeing what you were going to do with the Coach house. As was a fantastic building project. I would be interested to hear what your plans were! As knowing you, albeit not in person. You would have had some grand ideas already in place. 🫶

Adrianne and Carole to me this Chateau will always be linked to you. Adrianne the way you worked on the floors and the chandelier you would not have thought watching you that this was your first time doing this, you made it look so professional and the finish was spectacular. The grand salon and the dinning room Carole was pure joy to watch how you transformed those rooms and then came the hall way/passage which blew me with the transformation. I thank you both for taking us along on this journey. The amount of work, labour, sweat and sweet times you put into all that you did and Beth's amazing filming and editing shows just how GRAND, 'Chateau A La Ferte' is and its team. Thank you enjoyed this interview very much.

You two sure did an amazing job!! My husband and I probably be on divorce court😂!! No not really but we would always say that every time we would get a fixer-upper. It is lot of work but we always made work fun. Or if one of us was having a bad day we would just listen to each other. I think that’s why I would cry after watching you two. It remind me of my husband and I. He passed away in 2017. So watching your episodes was good therapy for me!! You put a smile on my face!! I’m sure glad you two are still having your episodes!!! I asked myself if anyone of your family speaks french fluently? This would be my first recommendation renovating any place abroad and of course living in France for a longer period of time. First I worked for 15 years in a foreign country with the same company before I actually moved to the country (writing & spreaking no problem, working experience, understanding the taxation sytem, understand the culture) or it might become a too great adventure which may not last very long.

Your Grandkids will know who they are through you and your watching them grow and being a constant in their lives is the best feeling in the world. I have so much Respect for both of you! Talent and Brains lol I've grown very fond of your family and Beth is an absolute Star! I can't wait to see the Strawberry Farm (teasing). Lots of Love to you all, see you next week.

I’m sorry Beth but you need to move on and stop trying to make money from the Chateau - you no longer have any rights regarding selling plastic models or regurgitating old videos - I’m sure the new owners would not be happy if they knew what you were doing and you may even find yourself in court. If you all miss it so much why did you sell it ? Move on now and if you all get a new project then post about that instead 🤷♀️
