(Maker of Squardle here) I just watched the whole thing, so spoilers for this video below. Why would you read the comments before watching the video? Shoo! Scroll back up! I swear I didn't set out to give you boards with repeating words. But there are a few words that make the whole 5x5 board working out be more likely since they use common letters in the right positions. For the weekly boards and the normal Patreon bonus boards I've written code to select the order the puzzles go up in. It makes it unlikely (but not impossible) that the boards in weeks close to each other get words repeating. This is both to have a bigger number of the unique words show up and to avoid too much déjà vu. But for the bonus boards I added to your login I just picked some of my generated boards at random and double checked that they weren't in the list of boards that my Patreon supporters will get so that your video wouldn't spoil anything there. So I guess EDGED (and SEDAN) are just common words in 5x5 double magic word squares. I still can't believe that you managed to solve all of these with the rules you'd set for yourself. Given that I didn't think three weekly boards at once would be possible, I thought four was really stretching it unless you got really lucky. It sure helped that you picked a week to do this when starting out by going to the STORE got you *five* greens on the normal weekly board. But even if you solve all four boards after five guesses that doesn't guarantee that you'll be able to win with these rules, so making that work was really impressive. I absolutely don't want to promise anything, but this really gets my mind thinking about new game modes with multiple boards at once. Given that I still want all game modes to be playable on mobile I'd likely have to fit multiple mid sized letters per square (and have the clues split into multiple colors kind of like the keyboard on Quordle). That said, I have a bunch of other made modes I'd still want to implement before that. So if I can make this happen it's not in the *near* future. Plus while I'm in no way tired of working on Squardle, I'm also constantly plagued with a whole bunch of other game ideas that I'm tempted to get a bit sidetracked by. Huge thanks for taking the time to do this, watching a video of over an hour of someone playing my game is extremely fun for me! So thanks for recording and editing this, I've done enough video production to understand that doing that takes *way* more than just an hour. Even though I'm slowly getting to grips with Squardle having several thousand players every day, knowing that you also have lots of viewers who will want to watch someone play one of my games for an hour is still mind boggling to me. So thanks to all of you as well!

Hey everyone, welcome to my latest Squirtle challenge! The creator of Squirtle reached out to me and said "Hey, you did a triple weekly, I figured you're gonna want to try four." So, he gave me some bonus boards on my login, and here we are. I don't know what to expect, but it's gonna be insane and chaotic. But I'm gonna give it a shot! You'll see our tokens on the right, and if you're not familiar with Squirtle, it probably looks insane. But if you are familiar with it, it still probably looks insane. Squirtle is like Wordle on a grid and you're guessing a row and a column at the same time. I've been doing a thing where I try to do more than one squared weekly Squirtle at the same time. I did a triple weekly Squirtle and it's pretty much impossible to do normally, so we came up with this token system which is not something that's built into the game and I'm just doing it myself. Basically, if I get a bonus guess, I get a token then I can spend a token to change the letter. So, I could guess like "store" on one puzzle and "stare" on the other one or something. And it makes it more feasible to get them all finished. So, I think I've got everything set up on the screen here. I think I've got all the right puzzles. It's a little tricky to get it to think you've already done the puzzles, but I think I've got it all working. So, I'll start with "store" that's what I usually start with, and I think it's a pretty good start. Let's see how it goes!

42:20 I'm just curious, do the token rules allow to guess PACER in the far right puzzle and change to PACED for only one token for the rest? I mean we are only changing one letter, and not three. I feel like this rule could really help these challenges.

These hour long runs are hard for me to fit in my watching schedule. I wish you'd do more speed runs that knock out the entire keyboard in the first six guesses. The words I use for speed are SQUAT/VIXEN/BUMPY/GLITZ/FJORD/WHACK, usually in that order but sometimes mixed up based on where the four duplicated letters point (ATIU).

The quordle wasn’t that interesting today. The words were pretty easy to guess and very common. Same goes for the octordle, all the words were pretty common except for one that uses an uncommon letter but a fairly common word. I wouldn’t do them but I’m sure everyone else says otherwise (plus you wouldn’t want to lose your streak). Also, I miss the dog! Could we do BANJO, PLAYS, and FETCH?
