Good video and good talk. I have a large fleet, 46 ships presently. I am not an org but I have enough to supply an org with quite a few ships. I CCU'ed just about everything over 7 years. I figured it out the other day and I spent around $125 a month for them all. I paid more back in the days of World of Warcraft with computer upgrades, peripherals, and monthly payments (3 accounts). Now I am retired and only have two bills, electric and internet. So this is my hobby that I enjoy immensely.

​@@ZyvhurStudiosYeah, that's how I looked at it too. I didn't feel being a subscriber gave me what I wanted in terms of value, so I put some money aside for future support/CCU chaining. I figure it was around $25-30/mo. since 2014. I've about hit my limit though, there isn't much else I'm looking for and I think I've been quite generous with project support. You never know though, there could be room for one more ship... 😊

Great discussion! It would be kind of interesting to see if they give us a hangar allocation per ship. I'm hoping they do what they did with the hangar module and give you a certain number of pads to park ships on for each hangar you get. Sadly, there isnt much space to park ships around. I want to have multiple ships in there. Maybe I'm fixing a ship, but need to travel away to get a part for it. I want to leave the ship there in the workspace and come back to it. I'd like to leave the equipment/supplies right where I left them. Since it's instanced, I can't see why they couldn't let us do this.

Not too many, just too few teams and people I used to think i would only need 1 starter ship, but as time went on i just kept spending my extra extra money(the money leftover from saving/expenses) to buy ships, now i have a Polaris snd Orion plus many many smaller ships.

How many ships is too many. Well if we are talking about one person's purchased with cash ships I would say anything over two is a little excessive. I would picture a "good starting fleet" to be something like a Taurus and an Arrow (Maybe an arrow doesn't make the most sense because military tax but something small a fun to fly around in that can be grabbed while waiting on insurance timers or when you don't need a big ship.) I spent way too much on this PoS game but it's all in CCUs the only cash purchased ships I actually have (excluding little referral things) are the Corsair and the Cutter.

Yes having every ship in the game would take away too much of the progression for me personally but we’ll see what CIG adds to improve that

I bet that this is the fleet of a solo player😂. Even if it’s not, I would say 99% of orgs are very undermanned for the ships they own, and I think people will just have owned ships that they will not use/be able to

With crytek 3 being the software the game is run on, added ships is the only way they can improve the game, they can’t add assets or game features because crytek 3 cannot handle it

I only have one ship, the way i play the game is to buy ships in game, i like working to my ships in game, i plan on buying a jav, galaxy, and kraken all bought in game, im hoping i can hire ai to crew them

I have a variety of ships, that are single, two or three (max) crewed and I don't expect to purchase any others. ;-) ARGO Cargo, ARGO RAFT, Arrow, Aurora, Buccaneer, C2, Cutlass, Cutter, F8C, Merlin, Pieces & Pieces/Med, Prospector, Renegade, Vulcan, Warden, Zeus, 400i, 85X (325a/loaner, F7C/loaner). I also have a few ground, and nul-grav vehicles.

All those ships and no Starfarer... The thing you missed, is that many whales buy multiples of these massive combat ships so they don't have to wait for insurance. That's when you know you're truly holding the line.
