The Super Smash Bros. series is a celebration of countless video game franchises and series, all represented together in one game. In a way, that's a lot like a merchandise collection, where you showcase all these franchises you love with your merchandise on display. Because of that, I was thinking, how many Super Smash Bros. characters can you represent in a plush display? Does every fighter have a plush? How many have official plushes available on the market today? That's what we're finding out today.

October 2021 Update: * Byleth doesn't have a plush * Min Min doesn't have a plush * There are several plushies of Steve, Alex, Zombie, and Enderman * Sephiroth does have plush merchandise * Pyra and Mythra don't * Kazuya does has plush merchandise * Sora has plushies as well. So in total, Steve, Sephiroth, Kazuya, and Sora have plushies. Byleth, Min Min, Pyra, and Mythra don't.

My sister cosplayed as Rosalina for a con and she made her own Luma plushie from scratch using fabric, a sewing kit, fabric paint, and poly-fil which she hung on fishnet from a couple of rings to make it look like it was floating alongside her. It's kind of difficult to make because of the irregular shape (a rounded star) plus the 3D proportions are really difficult to recreate in said shape. Just google "Luma plushie" and you'll find that most of them they look more like weird bird beaks with a weird middle seam.

Here’s some fun updates! Byleth currently has no plushes but probably will get one. Min Min has nothing at all. Steve has a plush made by Jinx who seems to handle a lot of minecraft merch. And Sephiroth has a couple of plushes you can get over the years. Banjo and Kazooie got a new plush from Fangamer which is a rarity for them. But the most interesting thing to me is that since this videos creation one of the missing characters got a plush. And it’s Snake of all people once again coming from fangamer and being sold in a set with Otacon. Fangamer seems to have a great working relationship with Konami making merch for Silent Hill, Bomberman and even Mystical Ninja. Who knows maybe they’ll let them make Simon and Richter plushes someday.
