The metronome mech actually has a brilliant attack sound. This card's most effective scenario outside of mana cheating is that it stays on board or somehow comes into play when you have full mana, then you play a 1,2,3 and 4 mana card, which adds up to 10 mana, and then when you attack with the gnome, it continues 5,6,7,8! :D

Makes sense. Both are board centric classes, with hero powers that don't impact the board. So they focus more on playing and trading minions than other classes. Which is one of the appeals for Arena, it being a more board focused mode (Due to spells and deck synergy being less common).

Mages strength lies in its card generation but its such a stupid mechanic for arena. Frozen touch was the worst offender that 2nd game but we can't deny she randomly generated some solid turns. It's frustrating when runs end because of mages. Then you got freaking death knight over here 1:13:00 with insane constructed like turns lol.

love hearing u talk about dnd since i was doing minor session prep watching this. i agree that easy dnd can be pretty lame, but i think that brutally hard dnd for no reason other than for the sake of being hard is lame too. its fun to be a little nice to the players sometimes in a tense moment, but i love giving heads up that a player might die if things go wrong and they press on anyway.

You know...after watching these Arena runs fairly regularly for like a few years now, I just had a thought: why do these plug-ins or mods or whatever that show the analysis of all the cards Trump is tracking bother to give an estimated win rate and value of the deck as a whole when Trump completes the draft?
