Drifting is an art form, a different way to show control of the car. The way I always justify drifting is like this; Athletics. Why do those people run, jump and triple twist their way to the other side of the room when they could of ran to the other side a hell of a lot faster? Because art. Just like athletics, drifting is showing you have control of your self and the objects you posses in a different manner to that of tradition. It is often people who dislike art, who dislike these professions
