There are a lot of numbers at WR and CB but not a lot of quality. - None of the WRs they have are a legit WR3. - Other than Ringo who’s g’teed a spot and is an outside CB4 at best all the guys fighting for backup CB - Maddox/McPherson/Ricks/Rodgers/Jobe/Hall/Goodrich - are coming off big injuries or JAGs. Bradberry not named bc I think he gets cut.

Thanks for sticking up for Kenny G. I thought people were overacting. I really like Covey but definitely hard to see he will get the opportunity. I am sure he can somewhere else. I believe 5/6 WR’s make the 53 Man Roster .. AJ,Devonta,Parker for sure - then a real battle with the last 2/3 spots - The 2 Draft Picks along Covey probably have the inside track but who knows how quickly they assimilate to Moore’s System, who remains healthy and who can play on Special Teams and should be good battles all summer camp and pre-season

My guess is they put the Vets on PS and keep the rookies and Covey and maybe 1 more.

If they keep 10 Offensive Lineman, then they will only keep 5 WR's. If they only keep 9 OL, then there is a slight chance they keep 6 WR's. Either way, it's going to be Covey vs Parris Campbell for the roster spot, and I'd rather keep Parris Campbell as a potential Slot over Punt-return-only, Covey.

I'm surprised at how little attention is paid to the difference in guaranteed salary, when they are doing these roster predictions.... There are guys that have nearly half of their salary guaranteed, not being mentioned.

We've mentioned their salaries tons of times. Parker's isn't (Pats owe him), Campbell's is small. The guarantees won't keep any of backups on the roster.

Completely different circumstances+ skill set (jjaw couldn't run, Wilson can). In fact, if by year 3 Wilson is still with the team but struggling, he likely won't be back. 6th round picks won't be typically shown a lot of patience.

Cut parker…do not pass go. Hes never done anything for anyone cant be a backup on the patriots. I’d rather have Ngata, Wilson or Campbell any day

Gainwell messed up by bringing up the Chiefs. He didn't play for them or Andy Reid so what does he know about the KC locker room. If he left out that part, it probably would have been more or less ignored. As you mentioned everything else he said, had been reported already. Bringing up another team is the real reason why people feel like he spoke out of turn. Has nothing to do with being #2 or a backup.
