Marinette can't tell chat noir is Adrien cause of the complete change in personalities, he is usually a quiet and reserved guy IRL and with his Super hero personality he is out going and flirty.Same for Adrien, Marinette is usually clumsy and shy when it comes to him and can't speak properly so he thinks she is like that with everyone. In the S1 E1 when you see Chat Noir joins in late and Marinette is a Badass so he thinks she is doing it for a long time. That's why they can't guess each other !!
