I’m good with what Matthew Stafford has accomplished as a Ram and in his HoF-worthy career overall. Happy to see him lead the team again as long as he can sling it over 300 yards in a snow storm despite closing in on 40 years old, especially since none of the free agent QB’s this year or next are at his caliber. Les Snead and Sean McVay are certainly working out scenarios for when it’s time to pass the torch to a new starting QB. We’ll see which top-level QB’s who want to play in the Rams’ system happen to take meetings with McVay in Mexico in the future.

All in next year. We have a dam good team. A few holes (Line backer, DB, Deep threat contested catch receiver) and i personally think we need to go out and find the absolute best physical and cerebral center thats avalible in free agency. One that can take control of the offensive line and help protect stafford. Because as long as 9 is healthy and protected, we can beat anyone.

@@christianmillar140 I feel ya, but I honestly think we haven’t seen a commitment to have the Jackson, Jackson, Avila, Dotson, Havenstein starting lineup we were advertised at the beginning of the season. Limmer was decent, but he stayed because he anchored the line during all their injuries, and they got familiarity going. I hate to say it, but I think Limmer should be Avila’s backup for center. Having a whole offseason with no injuries might show us a top 5 offensive line with these guys.

Rams need to address their weak link in the draft or via free agency, that being inside LB. Roszboom got jacked on Barkley’s first TD run and got caught inside on the second one. Anyone who watches film knows that we couldn’t cover a RB or TE all season, either in the run game or pass coverage. I am sure that Snead knows this and will address it at the draft.

I’d argue that the Dotson false start was more instrumental. It stopped the clock and allowed the Eagles to substitute for their DL which was absolutely gassed. Without that, the Rams continue their hurry up with the Eagles reeling and I believe they would have scored. Without that false start, there wouldn’t have been a sack.

We need to shore up the offensive line and get another stud at linebacker to partner up with speights... we need a bruiser back as well kyren can't get us 3rd and short consistently when we need it . We need a big back to get those short yardage and be a lot better in pass pro . I'd say let's draft a qb in later rounds that can run and we can develop .. I would like jalen milroe or Dillon Gabriel

The Rams have crushed the past two drafts. They nearly rebuilt their entire defense, two starting OL, Puka and a kicker. The Rams can tweak the defense by investing in their LB corps and Dbs but they’ll be competitive. I think Kupp and Havenstein will restructure their contracts to remain with team. Stafford is not going anywhere, he wants to solidify his HOF resume.

Matt Stafford’s career lasted longer than I thought it would. Terrific passer of course but I think he’s had multiple back surgeries - no fun and I can attest to that - and he’s gotta be in his mid-to-late 30s now. Sure, Brady played well into his 40s but Tom’s an outlier. If the Rams could get a guy who’s almost as good of a passer, a much better runner, is younger and is cheaper, well, then time for Matt to go. Otherwise the Rams will have to sing, “Matt, I’m happy to be stuck with you. . . .” You know, like Huey Lewis.

Comparing recent performances at their respective jobs, I'd say Stafford's future looks more deservedly secure than these two maroons. Wrong about pretty much everything in LAR's playoff performances, so I guess they are at least consistent...lol LAR can't repeat their first game vs MINN because of the distraction of the fire crisis & the weight of MINN's 14 wins! Uh-huh....sure LAR can't play offense in the snow/cold, can't get to the QB through that O-line; 300+ yds & two TDs passing, no picks, a hundred for Kyren, 7 sacks, six of them without Fiske. LAR had the same defensive breakdowns indoors as they had in PHI. Kyren has fumbled repeatedly indoors. There's never been a good reason to listen to Foolio except that he's a slightly less idiotic non-expert than Bayless. Simms ought to know better, but I'm starting to wonder if the tieless dress shirt look isn't a style choice but evidence that he can't grasp/retain how to tie a windsor knot & is too embarrassed to ask wardrobe for help.
