Ok, a few things on Melania. While I totally understand her reluctance of being a first lady, because granted, it wasn't her choice, she had the opportunity to make a difference in her role. But instead she chose to just act like she was interested. And her initiative "Be best" besides being gramatically wrong, was so jarringly opposite of her husband behavior. With regards to her speaking 5 languages, considering she was a model, there was a slight possibility that she would. However, as someone who speaks 4 languages and for whom EN was also a 2nd language, I highly doubt she was able to master all those 5 languages while she has lived in the US for almost 30 years and still speaks like she has been living there for a couple years. Also, she didn't get to US with a einstein visa, just a regular H1-B visa, which is a work visa given to highly skilled people, but in her case was probably just to her doing modeling, nothing else. You ladies talk about her interesting immigrant rags to riches story, but she is nothing but a trophy wife. He was rich and older, she was a struggling model, the story could not get any simpler.

About Melania’s language skills: she was born in Yugoslavia, state language was Serbian. Most likely she speaks Serbian, Serbian is pretty much same as Croatian, but you can count it separately if you are desperate. I have encountered numerous Eastern European women who were born under Communism/Socialism and have resided in the EU for the past 30 yrs or so.
