South Dakota Governor, Kristi Noem has been Banned from I think 4 Native American Reservations in her State. At least, in part, because she suggested that the Tribes were letting Cartels use their Land in exchange for Payment. Along with numerous other things. I'd like to think she had Satellite Imagery, or a bunch of Sworn Affidavits, something... before saying the words.

The Yakama tribe is located next to “Yakima” Washington and is known as one of the largest hubs in the PNW that is used as a base by Historically the C.D.S. But recently the notorious CJNG has started operations on the Yakama reservation.. American Indian reservations have substantially higher Missing/ Murdered persons than anywhere in the US that also doesn’t include drug overdoses, corruption, etc. Reservations are seen as little foreign islands within the US the Cartels are Aware that they can muscle their way against Tribal and Local Police.. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cartels bribe and or threaten many tribal police

Great interview but he was wrong when he said that Tohono O'odham was the only reservation on an international border. In Upstate NY there is another. It's called Saint Regis Mohawk Indian Territory. AKA "Akwesasne" It borders Ny and Canada seemingly separated by the Saint Lawrence River but parts of the reservation are in fact in Ontario and Quebec. It was used a lot in the 90's and early 2000's to smuggle grass (and god knows what else) from Canada.

Are Mexicans considered Native Americans?
@edwardpoe73237 ай бұрын
The indigenous people in north america were in the region long before there was a Mexican border. Texas new mexico Arizona. Utah Nevada and parts of california were literally Mexico until the treaty of Guadelupe Hidalgo signed in 1848. There's a lot to that question parts of soma of the reservations are on both sides of the border.

It is absolutely ridiculously stupid for the United States of America to allow "separate nations", to exist within our borders.
@charlesbaker16287 ай бұрын
There are no separate nations within the borders of the U.S. Some tribes have been given Municipal Authority, the same authority(sovereignty) that a city has, they can have police, fire, city government and so forth. The only difference from a normal city is that it is on Federal land, which blocks local government agencies from entering. Its important to note that Congress can at any time revoke their municipal authority( sovereignty) and take over control of the Federal land. There has been no sovereign tribes on U.S. soil for over 100 years, and no reason why we should uphold treaties with nations that no longer exist.
@Tukahuba257 ай бұрын

@boomingbaby45027 ай бұрын
Get out then cause you imposed yourselves upon a nation and now you within a nation. Your words not mine. 😮
@Kaizergeld7 ай бұрын
It’s also absolutely ridiculously stupid how racist that sounds. Legitimately as volatile and provocative as something a certain German would have said some time around 1939. I’m all for secure borders in the form of actionable, effective legislation and adequately funded enforcement agencies, but there is absolutely no reason whatsoever such a massive country with so much land and abundant natural resource couldn’t cultivate and maintain mutually progressive sustainable treaties with indigenous cultures. They are two entirely different issues altogether. And that’s exactly why the Cartels did a better job coexisting in the mess that we left than our own government did. The American Consumer is the largest contributor to the wealth and proliferation of the drug industry and its monopolizations by the Cartels, and therefore the American Consumer is their Number 1 supporter. So, to even so lazily imply that the reservations are the actual problem is so narrowly Nazism and so thinly veiled that I would strongly encourage you to either thoroughly reevaluate the insidious root of your ideologies, or seriously question your capacity to apply historical context to contemporary government.

and it's not even real natives that run the tribes anymore white farmer boys benefit more of tribal land then any actual native american lived in a reservation all my life think i'd know buddy.
@EXP0SING7 ай бұрын
only reason why you think people on a tribe are ignorant is because of the lack of education we are given on a reservation mostly racist white/prejudice people ruining any chance of a real native becoming something, the reason for being poor is because of no jobs only for the racists as for the drug addicts don't blame them for surviving getting some cash that way since they have no other option, people like you talk so much trash about a reservation and about its people but never been to one in your life or around actual native people.
