Great hire Zimmer will hold the players accountable! Before the Cowboys hired McCarthy he spent a day at the PFF offices in Cincinnati, learning more about data and how to incorporate analytics into his program per Peter King

Long-time Cowboys fan since the mid-60s and personally like the Zimmer hire. I hope that he also shows McCarthy the "weaknesses" in his offensive scheme. While Zim is at it, then someone needs to also talk to Dak and find out what the Cowboys coaching staff needs to do to get Dak to "calm down" should the Cowboys reach the playoffs.

That is exactly where this is headed. Keep hiring over the hill coaching retreads and expecting a new result. This team is an embarrassment.

Good luck Cowboys with this one. He wasn't exactly liked or respected his past few seasons in Minnesota. Maybe a man past his time. Which means in Dallas the CEO of JerryWorld will keep him for too long.

Yeah but Kansas City coach in class by his self, my point is McCarthy came back to the cowboys after taking time off we can agree that he's not the brightest bulb in the bag when it comes to time management and his decisions are somewhat questionable, now you got Zimmer coming back from time off let's see this work good luck that 😅, insanity and you know what they say about insanity 🤔😅😂😎

I just don't see how he makes this defense better this year. I mean he needs like 2-3 years to reasonably show results. Is he gonna be here in 2025 no matter what?

The Cowboys made a mistake with this hire. Should have hire Rex Ryan. Dallas needs attitude, nastiness and Rex would bring these attributes. Zimmerman’s defenses were average at best his last several seasons in Minnesota. Another passive hire! Cowboys will never win until Jerry sells or relinquish control of the team.

As an FYI, Shannon is not going to "stand pat" with his offensive scheme, especially now that the Chiefs were able to hold his offense down. A very good coach will learn from defeats and adapt. Let us hope that MM, Zim and Dak have learned from their past experiences that resulted in less than ideal results.

On other podcast.. Jesse Holley & Isaiah Stanback chaperones for Camp Cupcake 🧁 You’re getting a lot of money to play a kids game. Players who are too sensitive to be coached up can leave. Y’all ask why.. Cowboys fold each and every time they get punched in the mouth ?? Yeah.. they soft! Lmao. DQ good coach, but nothing more than a friendly uncle to the players. They’re too relaxed & too comfy!. Hence why we’re also #1 in penalties or close to it. Mike Zimmer ain’t gonna kiss yo azz!. You wanna play?.. then do your freaking job!. If not trade ‘Em & get ‘Em out!.. and get the right mentality of players here.
