How Minecraft GAME DROPS Could Change Everything...

I believe Mojang said somewhere that they would still be doing larger drops (like previously), but also wanted to add smaller drops of content as well!

the larger drops would likely be smaller than the previous large ones. like how the pale gardens are a large drop, but not as big as tricky trials or caves and cliffs were

By my understanding I think it will actually be like one big in the summer then a small one in the winter like the tricky trials update then the garden awakens drop.

@TorinPink that's not what's going to happen as a dev recently had reststed that their will be multiple drops throughout the whole year while another team works on the more bigger updates.

I like the drops system, but I still want major updates between drops just so there can be real long-term hype between the frequent updates that vary in size.

They did confirm that behind the scenes while they work on game drops, another big update will be worked on.

Game drops have the potential to bring us more content more freuqnetly if they're pulled off right. In my opinion, Armored Paws is the best drop we've received by far. It strikes the balance between quantity and quality in a way no other drop has accomplished so far. Bundles of Bravery is also cool since we got bundles after 4 years (and hardcore on Bedrock after 13 years of being on Java). The next drop we're going to get, the Pale Garden drop, has an interesting idea in the Pale Garden but they haven't really done much with it. The new Pale Wood and Resin blocks are fun to build with and the creaking is interesting but if you're expecting something that expands the game past adding new building blocks, this isn't the update for you unfortunately. I really hope drops do get better in the future but as of right now, most of them are subpar at best (with the exception of Armored Paws).

I'd argue Enchanting and Repairing should be the priority before the End update especially if they plan on scaling the difficulty further within the End and beyond. Enchantments are too much of a frustrating gambling game to not fix before moving onto the End. Would it be a particularly exciting update? Probably not for most people but it doesn't need to be, even if it was a game drop that'd suffice so long as it's less grindy and you have more selection over what you get.

we've had three game drops not two, bats & pots was the test one, armored paws was called a drop on release but we didn't really know much about it then

I feel like this game drop system is going to give Minecraft a new refresh but also if you're going to be doing smaller and medium-sized game drops I think for easy smaller one adding more shades of existing colors in the game like we need more Brown yellows and greys and for a medium sized they can probably add some new animations new texture of some items or add more things like more enchantments because I feel like even with the enchantments we have now we don't have a lot of variety since we don't have split off variance like with armor having multiple different protections

All I'm saying is, if there can be mods + minecraft like taking individual contents from mods and adding to minecraft, its cool, for me, maybe like Nomadic lifestyle? like allowing us to keep exploring and stuff

The devs have already confirmed that drops of different sizes will all still be called drops and not updates. They do have separate teams working on different drops and some bigger then others

I’m honestly not a fan of the new “guardian” mob trend, what I mean are mobs that are practically invincible and serve no other purpose than to look pretty and fill space, not only that, but they either drop no loot or lackluster loot - A.K.A the Warden and the Creaking.

we are never getting a end update I hate mojang and microsoft the know a majority of the community has been asking for the end to be updated they not only refuse to do so but they do not even acknowledge it. And they said with the drops we will listen and do more things we want well were are the white pumpkins and fog for the pale forest and no I am not calling it a garden it is a forest.
