Recreate your home, recreate the opening sequence of the latest non minecraft game you played, create a minecraft skin for a character you wish you could get a skin for but can't, maybe transform a village

I have the problem where I do occasionally have build ideas I like except the scale of them prevents me from even wanting to start trying to create them, so I just go grind out resources for them even though I know I probably won't actually build them.

Or look at what kind of farms your world is missing. Need a pumpkin/melon farm? Don't put it underground or far away, but try to make it decorative (inside a farmhouse or even a giant pumpkin)

Bedrock/pocket is why it is hard to build, no tools at all (props to builders on bedrock)

They have so much patience that the rest of us don't, and while I was younger child when I primarily play Minecraft on the iPad, I only used Creative mode then. The largest thing I saw in Creative was a castle my mother built in my first ever world (dang it old iPad, that world is gone forever thanks to you! 😂😢).

Using commands you can settup a "poor mans" world edit tool and I recommend watching art tutorials beyond minecraft mayge learn basic architecture design if you know how it works fundamentally then you can build anything and make it look good
