Update: 9-1-24 Kristilee's having a bad day today... but was strong enough to try a few bites of a scrambled egg. First Time in four years! Pretty cool. She's very very happy.

This is a great video that shows what black mold and other toxins can do to a person. Within my own apartment we tested the walls and they have lead and there was black mold in our bathroom that our place painted over so were hoping to get out soon. I'm glad you got out of there and that and that yall are getting healthier!

I left out some details to keep the video focused, but I'm happy to dive deeper here. We definitely smelled mold, especially after moving out and gaining distance from the place. Our belongings reeked of mold, and I noticed it in the outlets when I removed the covers. Every night, we dealt with centipedes-these pests thrive in humidity, which indicates a serious moisture problem. We did find mold on some items in the closet but not coming out of the walls, until that crack when we moved. We also had issues with water pooling near the building after rain and a broken water pump under our floor boards, which coincided with Kristilee’s health decline. The landlord wasn't very communicative with those issues. Other tenants told us about water damage in the past. I appreciate the feedback that im getting here is people wanted me to go even deeper. It shows I’m on the right track with this broader subject matter.

@@NomadOverNormal thank man, your definitely on the right track and I’m sure that a lot of people are going through similar, so to hear someone else’s experience can only help with what you should look out for and what to do. I guess you didn’t realise about the smell of it until being away and then going back, your nose gets accustomed to it. We’ve had trouble in the past, not as bad as you say though, but that was more then enough. We’ve been getting some where we are now and it’s got me worried the same is happening again.

can you imagine having to uproot your entire life yeah for similar issues. :( it sucks so much i lived in PNW and my family has mold allergies as well and i wonder if it made things worse for me bc nobody coudl ever figure out why i was so sick

@@NomadOverNormal im not entirely sure, just my mom and brother had lots of chronic health issues/inherited stuff. i thought i avoided it cause i took more after my dad but washington is very very wet and mold is a massive problem up here, a lot of the low income housing complaints are mold concerns

I filmed enough to make this video 2x as long, but left out a LOT of details out of respect for the audiences time. Hey just wanted to let you know about Michaela Peterson and the lion diet in case you haven't come across her. She struggled with arthritis and autoimmune disorders her whole life. She found that going on a diet of just beef salt and water cured almost all of her symptoms but the reason she's so sensitive to food is because of mould toxicity. I wonder if a lion diet could be beneficial to your girlfriend while she recovers? Great video, thanks

Thanks for the tip:) Definitely familiar with her, and actually remember reading her back story on this a couple years ago.. though I didnt know it was from mold. We're going to be reintroducing beef to her soon. Just waiting for the local farm to process them and flash freeze them (she can only eat flash frozen chicken right now)
