This is jewish Hebrew. Which is partially correct. It says in scripture that YHWH would restore a pure language. To speak this language and understand it correctly only comes when one is a native English speaker. The rest comes down to listening to The Spirit of YHWH meditation and reflection and much study. If someone thinks they know Hebrew because they learned it from the jew they are only partially correct. Example: אלהים the jews says "Elohim" and have taught the world this pronunciation. This is very incorrect. As there is no 'O' there. It is ElHeyim. The letter ע is another big problem. Mostly this letter is pronounced "eye". Example: Evil "רע" this is pronounced "rye" and Jacob יעקוב would be Y-eye-quob. The Q or "ק" is another which is often mispronounced. It usually has a Kw sound as in Kwick Quick. The name Cain קין is Quin . This is why there are several jews with this name. And a jewish cartoon creator made Harley Quin. Another is רוח which jews really get wrong and say ru-ach. With a gutteral ch. Which is also wrong. The word is roch or rock. Rocky would be "my spirit" or "spirit of" the noun that follows.

All of them technically are mispronunciations, because Ancient Hebrew of the time period is largely a dead language outside of religious text. Moreover, the pronunciation is off because Modern Hebrew ans it's speakers undoubtedly affect the pronunciation, and that language ain't an authentic Semitic language.
@JacobIX995 ай бұрын
Religious texts have Nikkud for the letters, so it's not that different from ancient pronunciation. For example: the letter א can be pronounced in 5 different ways, depends on the Nikkud. Hebrew was actually have always been a distinct language from other Semitic languages, and even back then, the R sound was heavy. The influence was from other West Asian ancient civilizations like Akkadian and Babylonian, and there was no 1 correct tongue of speaking Hebrew back then, especially since the spoken language was Aramaic.

That's a lie. Yiddish is Germanic language and Hebrew is Canaanite and Semitic language. They have nothing to do with each other except that Yiddish uses the Hebrew alphabet. It's not that hard to look it up and see unbiased linguists and historians prove what I said as truth.
@yiannisroubos88464 ай бұрын
@achilles7607 modern hebrew adopted Yiddish phonology as its revivers were native Yiddish speakers. Read a comparison of ancient hebrew, Yiddish ans modern hebrew phonologies and you'll see that modern hebrew is an almost one for one overlap with Yiddish. You seriously think the ancient Hebrews had a uvula r ?
@achilles76074 ай бұрын
@@yiannisroubos8846 I speak ancient Hebrew. I can read the Bible and all Biblical texts in their original form. Any historical and archaeological findings that were found, we can read them all. Explain that to me... Why are you denying what historians and linguists say is truth?!
@yiannisroubos88464 ай бұрын
@@achilles7607 but your r is guttural and not a trill because it comes from Yiddish...
@achilles76074 ай бұрын
@@yiannisroubos8846 There are many different Hebrew speakers who pronounce the R differently. What's your point? My aunt pronounce the R in the old way, with an heavy accent. Yemenite Jews speak Hebrew the most correctly pronounced... And Yiddish speakers can do too but don't... I can pronounce the R in all ways it can be pronounced. It's not the point. The point is that the language itself, the words, the rules, everything is Biblical. If a Jew from Biblical times were to hypothetically stand in front of me and anyone who speaks modern Hebrew, we could have a conversation and understand eachother. Not perfectly, no, but we could speak to eachother and understand almost anything the other person says.
