Just found this channel and awesome! I left America 3 months ago and been saving a flight from Mexico and hoping and I can get to Kenya by February and hoping I can stay!! Have not even been to the continent but I already know I will love it. Good and bad. Found out I am 32% Nigerian, Igbo and alot due to Ancestry with Slave trade and I want to be in Africa for sure. 😊

I listen to many people who come to Kenya say how much they are in love in the country and I am like, whaaaat? Do not get me wrong I am Kenyan. But very few things excite me about this country with the kind of leadership we have. Maybe to other people, especially the visitors, leadership is not up there with things they consider. To me, leadership is almost everything. Wait and see how awesome this country will be for everyone when we get it right with leadership. I see a lot of Burundians come here and I ask myself what these people are coming to do here when Kenyans are trying to get out. But looking at the kinds of jobs they come to do, very few Kenyans would even want to do them, plus maybe education is a factor in there.

Kenya has the worst weather in East Africa. We live in a semi-arid region. Most of you visit Nairobi. It would be best to visit north-eastern Kenya and experience what Mainstream does not show the world. If climate change is not a hoax, by 2050, the Chalbi desert would/might extend to around Isiolo. Yara is right about politics. If we get visionary leaders, we will compete with SA by 2040. Our politicians might be the most corrupt in the entire world. They receive hefty salaries compared to our GDP. We are fucked up country right now, but everything will be okay come 2027.
@petersonnyoro4593 күн бұрын
Move to central/Nyanza region n get out of chalbi desert.Kenya is big n u can reside anywhere

@petersonnyoro459 that was not the point. Born and raised in rift valley region. I live in Central now.
@patriot_20222 күн бұрын
North Eastern is a serious situation. Even other places that are ASAL. We need leaders that can build serious water infrastructure and plan how to stop Chalbi expansion. Like what the UN is doing with the Africa Great Green Wall to stop the Sahara Desert. There is more than plenty of water in Kenya

After reading this comment and many others like it, I think I am beginning to understand why many Kenyans are suffering in Kenya while foreigners are thriving in the same Kenya.
