I read a disturbing article today that quoted a private equity head saying college football teams are going to be targets for private equity investment in the not so distant future. I don't have a problem with NIL or revenue sharing, but Wall St can keep their greedy little hands out of it. 😡

Personally I think they didn't do enough in the portal. We really needed: 1. GUARD. 2. CENTER 3. RB. All of these are for depth.

@bluechipbreakdown Granted we're not at practice. However, we saw what happened with our center was out. The offense was slow and ineffective. Maybe we'll be ok at guard. But even jn Spring they were getting whipped by our DLine. And that was the backups. I dunno. OL really concerns me. Feels like sometimes they worry about the locker room far more than they should. This is football. E eryone has to compete at all times. And everyone there has had their opportunities. That said, im not the one paid $7M or whatever to run this team.

Student exempt for tax?

Tennessee has no state income tax.

I don't think students are exempt. They have to pay that on the money they make. We actually have a really good staff that helps our players with that form what I've heard!

@bluechipbreakdown Pretty sure whatever you earn in the state you're residing in at the time is where you pay the taxes. Although it might come down to what percentage of the year you lived there, so late enrollees (Fall) might not qualify the first year, but would the second. I would think the staff would help them with that, but IDK.
