People don't get a Master of Divinity degree to make money; they get one to be trained for the Christian ministry, possibly qualify for ordination, and fulfill the Great Commission. I disagree with the "market sustainability" comment. Colleges and universities will continue to offer and charge for degrees as long there is an interest in them regardless of resulting employability. Of note, the number of people getting MDiv has been steadily dropping for just just over a decade. Are we to conclude it's "market sustainability" is making it drop?

Are you saying you can make a good financial living with an Mdiv? Can you make enough to take care is your family with this degree. I’m contemplating getting one at the age of 42 years old.
