I expect it would take a whole new type of job direction to justify one of these. I expect it is a machine that you don't figure run time as important to an operation as you would down time. Down time with this biggun has to be a BIG factor in ownership...

27:25 minutes in to 29 minutes in; Really shows how fast this machine and an expert operator can move dirt faster than loading a truck and hauling it! That was the most informative video angle and sequence I've ever seen on an equipment/work channel! Effortless, fast, neat and raw power! It looks like it could handle an 8' bucket easily. Great job Chris! KEEPADIGGIN !

The cycle time is little longer, but man the dirt that moves with each cycle is where Big Girl shines. It is hard to believe that Big Girl can be so smooth in her operation. Again, the cycle time is what is amazing to me. Watching you move clay at 8 to 10 tons per cycle running not much slower than the 230, blows my mind. By the way, what's the fuel burn compared to the 235?
@genesispuredeaf2390

A 950 is a lot bigger than the 550 he's been loaned. From Volvo's website, the 550 he's running is rated at 456HP, bucket capacity is 3.14 to 6 yards, weight is 120,000lbs - 124,100lbs. 950F 603HP, bucket capacity is 5.1 to 10 yards and weight 201,227lbs - 209,200lbs. A stock 220 is 173HP, bucket capacity is 0.63 to 1.88 yards, weight is 45,350 - 55,360.

Due to the volume of messages you get I 'm not sure if you'll get to read this one but, I would like to let you know that I've been following your channel for years and really enjoy following your amazing projects with great interest. I guess like a lot of viewers I find your videos very entertaining, informative and relaxing. I also wanted to let you know that a late Christmas present turned up yesterday which was posted back on Nov last year from my lovely Daughter in-law. She is Canadian and sent me one of your t-shirts which I was thrilled to receive. Therefore this is a very well travelled t-shirt which started it's journey in the USA, you posted it to Canada and Kirsty posted it to me in England. I'd be interested to hear from all the viewers if you ordered or like me received one as a present, how far did it travel to get to you? BTW, thanks to you, I also follow Geoff's channel (Bealy Good) and enjoy watching when you two come together on projects. All the best from Dave in Kent, England

That farm pond area is a definite gold mine of having it's own supply of pure topsoil / clay to build and support this big project. For an operator, that must be an awesome pleasure to work in comfort and ease, a dream job with a relaxed rhythm to it. Anyone else notice..the tracks, bucket and teeth on the 550 don't even make a sound? Chris: "I moved a lotta dirt". I guess you did.... Chris you are rocking it with the big boy. Moving 8 -10 ton every couple of minutes for 8 to 10 hours is a hell of a lot of dirt when you think about it. It's unbelieve on the amount of dirt moved in the past 3 videos, you can really notice the progress. Big changes, awesome job brother.
