Dr Rohit Jain, gold medalist, senior consultant homeopath, explains at how much creatinine level how much kidney fails.
In early stages of kidney failure there are no signs and symptoms; this is because failing kidneys overwork to take out waster products and extra water from the body. Also body is adapting itself to high levels of toxins and water.
Serum creatinine level is used to measure kidney function. Normal level in males is 0.6-1.2 mg/dl. Normal level in females is 0.5-1.1 mg/dl.
If your creatinine level is more than 1.2 mg/dl it means your kidneys are not working properly. This is the right time to start homeopathic treatment as creatinine level can be reduced or its progression can be stopped or speed of increase can be slowed depending upon patient to patient.
When the creatinine level is 1.5 it means kidney failure is 25%.
When the creatinine level is 2 it means kidney failure is 50%.
When the creatinine level is 3.5 it means kidney failure is 75%.
When the creatinine level is 5 it means kidney failure is 90%.
When the creatinine level is 6-8 it means kidney failure is 95%.
It varies patients to patients at which creatinine level what kind of symptoms occur.
Some patients will have all kind of symptoms at 2 creatinine level and some patients will be ok at 7 creatinine level.
With homeopathic treatment even at high creatinine levels patient can be kept ok with less signs and symptoms.
CKD patients may pass normal urine but it does not contain waste products in it and as a result the waste accumulates in the blood.
