The purple plastic walls in the bathroom were fantastic value and are my favouritesingle item inthe build. I'm still toying with cladding the washroom in my beach hut with the same stuff, I'll see how much energy (and patience) I've got left after finish my full redecoration of the living and sleeping area.

Have you had the van weighed? Think the boxer is almost 2 ton bare. So you only have a ton and a half left under a normal licence and it sounds like you’ve added a hell of a lot of weight. Especially with 100 litre tanks and lpg and heating

Have you had the van weighed on a weighbridge , I bet its pretty heavy with all the conversion work done , I think these vans are 3500/3600kg fully laden , bear in mind it will be heavier with fuel and water onboard !

For that money it's all been Hi-Spec & done exactly to how you wanted obviously would've cost a lot more without a kindly Dad & his very reasonable labour costs! I could have saved 8K if Id done Viv myself in the first place instead of trusting a con man. You and your dad did an awesome job and he absolutely made sure everything you both did was up to spec. Ive just almost finished ripping the poor conversion out of viv, just my new rebuilt kitchen to go in. Sadly, Ive ended up paying twice for the same job. TBH though, like you in your van, I'm very proud of redoing mine. wish I'd either had an incredibly talented Dad or skills myself three years ago. I'd be 8K richer. Moral is.... everyone needs aBecca's dad! Much respect- Kenny
