HOW MUCH DIFFERENCE DOES THE PUTTER SHAFT MAKE?

Upgraded the shaft during my PXG putter fitting - you can really feel the difference.

I expect more manufacturers to offer shaft options in the future like Odyssey. Being a lefty I dont get many options which is probably a good thing. Currently game a Seemore with centre shaft.

Single bend and double bend shafts etc are opposite. Only straight shafts are obviously the same....

I used to putt with a miniature-golf putter. What I discovered is that knowing how to read the line in golf matters more than an expensive putter. When a putt misses its target, it's the fault of the person holding the club not the club.

VERY true. Some of what I'm currently trying to learn now is by virtue of similar club parts. Once I zero in on the manufacturer and model - then which shaft performs "notably" better than the rest FOR ME - then which grip is most comfortable TO ME?

Lol, that's why Callaway Triple Track and Odyssey 7-style putters are so popular. I've heard that right eye dominant golfers do better with mallets better of the visual alignment bias. Very interesting.

LOL... Yeah, right. Although a growing trend from fellow weekend warriors is to ignore the ball going into the hole altogether. Just mark down a 2-putt - no matter WHAT the ball does.. and move on.
