For everyone who think that FF's super break has cep. super break demage formula is (Break Base DMG - Affected by Character Level) * (Attack's Toughness Reduction) * (1 + Break Effect) * (Trace Boost) But FF's A4 apply ADDITIONAL multiplier to this formula. So FF super break formula is (FF's A4 mult.) * super break demage formula is (Break Base DMG - Affected by Character Level) * (Attack's Toughness Reduction) * (1 + Break Effect) * (Trace Boost) FF's A4 mult. has cap at 0.5(50%). But BE from original formula has no cap. This mean that you need to get BE as much as possible. It has not cap!

Yes its as advertised, people tend to think that the damage will not scale linearly but what people don't realize is that 360% is the cap of her SCALING. If it didn't have the cap people would go crazy on going all in BE and disregard SPD entirely thru atk scaling to make that damage go BRRRRR as it would scale EXPONENTIALLY.

Her own Super Break caps out at 360% Break, so she'll do a decent chunk of damage. Whilst HMC Super Break iirc has no Break Limit so having 400% will again do quite a bit more on HMC Super Break buff. Anyways her Super Break Multiplier works differently to HMC Super Break so in the end push her Break up to as hgh as you can same with HMC.

Yeah, that’s not how it works. FF skill dmg and super break dmg are two different instances of dmg with different multipliers. Skill can scale crit stats, the super break portion can’t. Also, HMC and FF super break aren’t different. They scale off the same multipliers. FF just uses 50% toughness reduction for dmg, whereas HMC uses 100%. That’s the only difference.

I have Firefly at E2, with Harmonyblazer and Ruan Mei. I'm only using the free SU Destruction LC, but I've gotten 550-600% Break Effect after all their buffs in MoC 12. She hits pretty hard, I've seen her hit for 500-700k on the MoC 12 second half bosses. I've hit 2.8 million damage in Divergent Universe with this setup and blessings too, lol. Absolute madness!

e2 has no real dmg amplification. Her e1 and e2 are mostly utility the only dmg buff she has is 15%. Iive got in SU close to 800 break effect which for me is the limit with the average set of cavalry i have right now. ive hitted between 7 and 8m in SU with her break on skill and with ruan even 3-4m on engage. E0 S1 firefly. 212 base break effect. I have alot of work to do on her set.

Yes, the damage with Ruan Mei would be much higher, BUT having that 40% more BE in Firefly relics would still amount to around a 10% rise (if not less) in total damage, that's the point of the video I feel.

If thats with Aeon LC, keep the speed set. 165 SPD can grant you another turn while she's in ult form, which is pretty good in 0-cycling (and just maximizing her damage output overall, rather than having a pretty-looking big number for her skill damage) Not much difference between Aeon LC and her signature LC, other than that your BE should easily be 240-260 BE% if you have her sig LC. 180-200 BE without her LC is already pretty damn good considering you're 1spd away from the most efficient breakpoint, and you should only be worried if you're under 230s with her sig LC.

Compared to getting a Ruan Mei, or getting her E1 (which is +8% damage for Firefly, and a lot of free SP for the team), or E2, which makes 0-cycling possible for FF teams that aren't even tuned for 0-cycling, another damage increase isn't a priority for Firefly hyper-investments. You can definitely mitigate not having her signature LC by just working on your HMC and Gallagher, especially Gallagher for his Break DMG Increase effect, which really is the only defining feature of her sig LC, other than raw Break Effect.

If you're doing stuff like MoC, i suggest to get 165 SPD (buffs counting on her first turn prior SAM). It will save you a cycle for the other team and make wave transitions much more smoother, then rest BE%.

@@MR.L009 Yes my kalpagni that already boosts speed has a 10 roll on the break rope, Relicscorer calls it SS but I know its a godroll due to the low RNG and the fact ropes are hard to get desireable good stats on them, getting SPD out of the way in this fashion makes you no longer worry about the rope farming and its a big W when relic farming. And 4 SPD and 17% BE (3 BE and 2 flat atk alongside 2 SPD rolls). Gives me enough SPD to just wear a SPD shoe which is whats recommended over atk% shoe in many ways and have the desired speed on Firefly of 165 with Ruan Mei's buff. My personal goal is to have every firefly relic on Relicscorer with a rate of SS and obviously have all DPS focused piece. Rope and orb are SS, Boot and chest are S and gloves and helm are A, still a way to go. Gladly because of getting all the SPD throught the planars themselves i dont need to worry about SPD rolls on relics and focus on ATK+BE%

Make sure your Firefly has minimum 160 BE (without buffs) and your HMC has 200 BE. Firefly with all of her personal buffs, with HMC she can easily get 330 BE, make sure you use watchmaker set on HMC. If you get her LC getting over 200 BE is extremely easy (I currently have 240BE, and my speed boots currently suck) If you want to maximize damage upgrade Firefly skill., also get her A4 passive asap because that is massive for her as well as A2 passive that makes her have super break in her kit.

Yeah 500% is achievable with a full BE set up, im still trying to raise her BE to to 550% with 231 SPD for max cycles in MOC as an E6S5, I think past that its impossible without sacrificing SPD. With a 251% BE 165 SPD Ruan Mei E1S5(4* MotP) and a 410% BE 165 SPD Harmony MC E6S1 (RM LC). I recommend switching HMC to Kalpagni unless you use Boothill as well then keep in Talia, just remember to throw the hat with Q prior ulting for max buff to maximize FF's DPS making more party DPS if it has buff, generally you'll E in first turn of MoC. Numbers measured with buffs.

Kinda where im at as f2p myself. Sitting around 360% with just HMC for buff support and using the sim u 5 star destruction light cone (fall of an aeon). Trying to decide if going for e1 or her light cone is more worth atm. Most of the relics dont have break effect rolls at all, and I dont have her planer relics yet. But I have Gallagher and Xuyei still to build for her team, so they're the focus at the moment. I'm currently working with HMC and Guinafen for extra damage.

You have to understand that there are a lot of additional factors to this when in a normal match, in here he put clara and lynx down I assume for consistency, if you replace them with buffers then that extra 40% could be huge.

If we're talking about ideal scenarios then Ruan Mei with her Break Efficiency and Res Pen boosting the damage by quite a bit also with Gallagher multiplicative damage debuff he does for Break/Super Break that extra 40% is actually buffed by quite a bit.

The difference is only in the initial break damage, as long as firefly break efficiency still the same or super break damage only cap at 50% of toughness damage, the only way to increase its Super break damage is only from vulnerability break debuff, RES Pen, or deff reduction/ignore

I have the feeling that given firefly at E2 basically gets a mix of seele's and boothill's talent she's balanced towards having E2 above, Seele suffers the same issue of being initially weak at E0 due to the existence of her talent, however becomes a complete beast once invested due to her extra turns and scaling at E6S5, if they balanced her for E0 she would had easily powercrept any character in the game.

She most definitely isn't. In this showcase you have neither Asta nor Gallagher who are better team mates than lynx and Clara by far. If you have her premium team then you will see her hitting 300ks every attack at E0S0 and since she attacks 4 times per cycle that's 1.2 million Damage per cycle. She is the best even at E0.

E6 FF gets very close to acheron's damage due to her quicker toughness reduce plus super break damage increase and it's less dependant on both her teammates and enemy behaviour unlike acheron. A jingliu case even, ngl if you look more than her damage FF is super solid she's a break version of jingliu with blade sustain and if she's E2 she's also seele because of resurgence added with her spd increase by ult in a 3 by one character deal.

Like pokke even judged acheron as capable of killing even stronger foes at 0 cycle that may potentially come later due to her potential nuke at the end of the first cycle if she's minmaxed with 300%+ crit dmg, now we have apocalyptic shadow that counts literally every action value and this already due to break gimmick makes having both boothill and firefly for each fight with boothill being advanced carry on cocolia and firefly with the hmc on argenti make the fight zoom. In my case is so stupid to tell people to dont get a unit for power because of some obstuse logic, but i do know that if they made her scaling insane like acheron's or dhil her e2 would be way better than many characters e6. I prefer to just make my favourite characters the strongest, saving jades until i can make my favourites e6s5 with god relics since its a thing i have since i played pso and warframe, minmax your favourite characters rather than always chasing the meta. I have acheron on my sights but i go for priorities, first it was jingliu, then firefly came out and next will be the quantum charas seele, silver wolf and sparkle because i love all those characters and want to make their party strong. Firefly came spontaneously but im halfway with building the eidolons and lc of my quantum team with sw at e2s1 sparkle at e1s1, fu xuan at e1s1 and seele at e0s1 aiming to e2sX whenever her banner comes, and then ill go optimizing the firefly team by getting ruan mei the e6 to prolong the break duration, Acheron might come after with possibly the best i can make her, ill worry about the optimal characters for her once its her turn, also hoping one day my bronya gets to e6, e2s5 atm so i can optimize my jingliu e6s5 more. I ignore a lot of the meta like dot and fua but my parties are demolishing even gng in 12 no prob. I hate the idea of dropping characters i enjoy for meta powercreep so i go all out in those, its why eidolons and superimpositions exist for me.
