exactly! i’m 20 and tried a couple careers and most lead me to a dead end. i joined pepsi (pepsico north america) and instantly got game from not only my employer but the people i work with. it’s job that’s paying people 28+ just for their Dlt’s don’t even need the cdl. I just wish my black community brothers would wake up and realize it’s more to life than risking it for a quick buck when you can get real good paying jobs with little to no education needed only hard work! if this channels doesn’t spread the message fast enough that’s definitely something i’ll like to do for my community.

We do deserve more and pay has gone up fast. When I started pay was 23.00 top wage 5 years ago. It's 35.00 now like this man. It's a competitive job market amongst companies. Drivers talk to each other a lot while loading and wore travels fast when companies are giving raises. People hop a bit and it forces companies to keep raising rates.

Training is 20 an hour. Usually last around 5-6 weeks. Then you will average 1500-1900 gross each week depending on how hungry you are. I am a go getter so I am at 110,000 for 2022. Not too bad for a high school drop out with a 10th grade education. I owe nothing but my house.

Please, please post more. I'm feeling lost with my life right now and although I have serious academic interests, they don't pay well. I'm very interested in trade jobs now, and the job I have now (while a shit job) has shown me that I need something hard to keep me focused. Desk work ain't for me. Tons of young men my age wasting their time in school studying something they aren't even interested in... When they could've spent a quarter of that term learning a trade and getting a job quick.

The best money I know of to be made right out of high school is through your local electric company. You'll start around $20 an hour but if you go for journeymen lineman, in a few years you'll be making $55 an hour, plus tons of over time. Hard work and long hours at times but you'll be making the equivalent of a dentist's salary with just a high school diploma or GED. If you dont get in with the big company the smaller companies the big guys sub contract jobs to pay their guys $35 hour, not exactly a dentist's salary, but good enough to keep a roof over your head and not live paycheck to paycheck as long as you live within your means. Hope this helps.

Electrical engineers are making around $120,000 a year while having to pay back college tuition. Meanwhile the journeymen lineman is making between $140,000 - $200,000 depending on overtime with high school diploma. Working harder but also making that much more.

On my first day solo last week I popped one my of driver side trailer tires on a train track since I fuel locomotives and I told the truth after I fueled 3 of them and got back to our yard my boss said be careful tell the truth, but my coworkers said you’re lucky you’re here cuz another fuel company would fire you instantly. If you have no particular skills be a driver. I couldn't drive for 20+ yrs of my life and be ok with it no matter the amount of money. Having a job should be more than making money you should like what u do and take pride in it.
