How much do software engineers get paid? You've been asking and I've finally been able to answer. In this video, I talk all about how much I make as a software engineer, how I budget my money, what my savings plan looks like and why I started real estate investing.
••••••••••••••••••••••••
About me:
I'm a software engineer currently working at a really dope company in Silicon Valley. I'm about a year out from college where I graduated with a degree in Computer Science. This channel is all about helping people who want to know more about software engineering or computer science and for me to be a helping hand in any way I can.

Thanks for watching. You da best.
love,
sosa

WOW. At 23 I was making $30,000 a year. Plan well because life has its way of changing your plans. I will be 44 years old in 3 months, Separated, single mom of 2 young kids (yes late starter!🙂), and now live in an apartment with my rent being $2400 a month (I have owned 2 homes) and still able to save $1200 a month from my paychecks. I have a paid off 2020 SUV and a Masters in IT (graduated in 2002). Oh and yes I am an IT Specialist too, but making $107,000 a year. At 23/24 years old, you are doing VERY well, I must say!!!! 👏👏

We get enamored over the pay number but then like you, I’m in the Bay Area also. The amount of living + taxes here makes our pay go down immensely 🤣 it blows. Loved the video! Hey Ang! I'm sorry I didn't answer this before. I don't know why I didn't see it. Anyway, I don't think writing is a waste of time if you're learning concepts and algorithms. Algos are the foundation of code and understanding how they work will serve you incredibly well. Don't worry if you don't have time to code on the side. It's not always necessary. You're already doing a great job taking notes on concepts and algorithms which is really important. Focus on getting the foundations right and you'll be good
