You must be in the office. As that is on off the harder jobs. It smashes your body. And just the form work is hard on the back. Twitching you a bent over then just look at those men. Best you go and get a few blisters to corn up. And try and hold a stubby at the end off a day. You hand are just pump. They even look sore to your mates. Get over your self and give your boys a pay rise. Your work ethic is picking up a biro

To be fair, it's a LITTLE bit much. Your avg contractor makes $1-3k a day profit. If I had to guess. Usually a couple hundred thousand a year. And like he said, we're rarely the highest price. I just sold a $17k job. With a $10k option. He didn't do the option. The other 2 quotes, that didn't even include everything I did? $33k and $55k. Just extortionate. So, you can make really great money and still be the cheapest.

Seriously 🤣 bad at truly accurate accounting and bookkeeping, downright time tracking. I honestly think its just say that when they report numbers to their peers and others , their reported numbers are bigger , thusly more impressive and indicative of success. Espeically as other people keep reporting that way.... Only encourages other to keep fluffing numbers and cutting accounting corners. I have really tried to talk financial turkey with anyone remotely willing over the last 30 years in my area and the amount of people bad/lazy at the math has been so close to all of them. Definitely appears to be how it is with most. I certainly love being in the presence of people actually decent at accounting in some capacity. Just so much easier to communicate about fricking reality haha

@@rgdconcrete yes an experienced crew can site prep and pour and finish in 4 hours but you still have to wait for it to cure and then strip it. Even if you only pay your top guys $30 for only 4 hours of work (don't forget you still have to pay someone to go back and strip and clean up) and unless you have another 4 hour job to go to you are only making part time wages. Hope you pay travel time too. I definitely wouldn't stick around for part time work and nothing less than $45. Don't forget diesel and lunch oh and license, bond and insurance.
