42 hours!!! In the US its only 36 hours full time, if your are a travel nurse depends on which state in california nurses get paid 90$/hour, if you are a travel nurse its about 12,000$/ month and you pay very less tax… how much is the tax rate there? Hopefully not half of your salary. How much is housing cost? If you buy a house? Not rent.

US and Canada are still the better choice for Pinoy nurses. Switzerland is just a better place to live due to its environment, nature, climate and people in general.
@ladyofwinterfel814324 күн бұрын
@ there are many places in the US that has scenery like switzerland like for example in the small town called levensworth in washington looks exactly like switzerland anchorage in alaska looks exactly like well russia 😂 it is afterall russia the US purchased alaska from russia, the US has everything and lower taxes we get to keep most of what we earn and decide for ourself what we need to do with this money, unlike many EU countries there is too much government OVER-reach they take away so much of your income, and give it to social welfare, and for some people its just not the definition for “quality life” because if i were to earn 150,000$/year id like for the government to leave me the hell alone and not tax too much, sure il pay taxes but not to a point where it eats up so much of my income that working isnt worth it 😂 and lets be honest who goes to the hospital every single day for surgery just for fun? Right in the entirety of my life in the US ive been to the hospital 2 times thats it, so i certainly do not need to pay 45-60% of my income in taxes.. just because of a bunch of people that wants free government handouts… if you accept government handouts you sold your freedom because now they dictate what you need to buy what you need to do, this is why private property in europe is almost impossible, you cant own a car because its too expensive and gas prices are through the roof, there are people that prefer riding their own car because theres more privacy i would prefer to own a car than being forced into public. Transport, i want to have 2-4 cars and that scenario is not uncommon in the US… canada is becoming like europe its very socialist because for left progressive justin Trudeau.

Thanks for this video its very informative the US still pays higher and you get to pay lesser to no taxes at all and you can afford to buy a house not apartment house with 2 car garage why does europe force people to live in cramp spaces?
@AnnYamNurseАй бұрын
Hi thank you so much! I agree that US still pays Nurses higher esp. Travel Nurses but some People choose Switzerland because of the Quality of Life and also very accessible and convenient to travel accross Europe. We have lesser Tax here than any other Country in Europe. We also don't live in cramp spaces most Apartment here even the Studio Unit are spacious and every thing you need is there. In terms of buying Houses yes it way too expensive bec. Switzerland is only a small Country but it's not possible. Nurses here also afford to buy House here. 😊
@ladyofwinterfel8143Ай бұрын
@ how much is your taxes? For travel nurse in the US its only about 8% cause we dont pay taxes on the stipend which is 1,500$/week so every week you get a stipend and the government does not take any taxes from that, what will be taxed is the basic salary which we all negotiate to make it lower so that were taxed a lower tax bracket.. i also get to write off all travel expenses and further reduce my taxes so for example if i make 120,000$ from travel nursing per year i get to keep 110,000$ and as for quality of life by law full time job is 36 hours per week anything above 36 hours is considered overtime and you are paid double your rate for overtime after 36 hours(three 12 hour shift) and some nurses even earn 300,000$-4000,000$ they are called CRNA(certified registered nurse anesthetist).. im very cursious thank you also for responding id like to know what is the tax rate and what is the nurse patient ratio ? Im filipino too by the way currently a travel nurse working in west virginia..

Or am I delusional? 😂 i‘m planning to do an ausbildung in germany but the salaries there are so bad and there‘s no guaranee of a pension.

you can easily go and apply for a dual citizenship and a permanent resident in Switzerland. First being an EU doesn't necessarily mean you are allowed to work. You need to apply for a B permit of 5 then the permanent residency. Sabi nga kapag may tiyaga may nilaga. it will work out well in the end. Just lower lang expectations because it really depends on one own mindset.
