I like the innovative way they used to “fix” the frames! I think you should get an EOS 105 water cooled for that X-lite frame.. 😂 tons of power, light, and very cool motor!!...

Where in Alberta are you from? I know this sounds kinda creepy asking it but I’m from Alberta too. I’m only 15 but this looks like an awesome thing to get into👍

How hard is the training to learn to fly one of those and do you have to get a licence before you fly I'm right interested in this and I live in the Alberta area

Training isn't real bad. You do need a degree of physical fitness to get ground handling down, but its not particularly hard. You will need a student pilot permit to take your first flights, and then you will need to get an ultralight license to fly alone. There's 3 schools as far as I know in Alberta. Wayne Mitchler in Wetaskawin, Claudio and Gerry run Air Adventure around Drayton (I attended Air Adventure, super great time. They have a winch which makes it a whole lot easier), and Fly Guy Alberta (Jason) runs ParamotorSports Canada down by innisfail. Last I heard, Jason was booked solid for the 2020 year so far, but I believe Claudio still has some room.

Prateek Walia Legally, and without having a mao to see the airspaces around there, I dont know why not. Practically, dont do it. Flying over a city could generate noise complaints, youll likely encounter turbulent air, and other aircraft. And if something goes wrong, you dont have any landing options. That said, theres a lot of nice places to fly outside the city. Alberta Flyguy runs a school out of Innisfail and I think most of his videos are around the same area.

Prateek Walia Maybe at best. But I still strongly advise against it for all the other reasons. If you only want to fly over the city, paramotor isnt gonna be a good time for you. Get a regular PPL and fly cessnas

Kangook still makes cheap frames that bend or break easy.... and they are by no means light by today’s standards.

How can you even land with that thing safely
@jaydenanko16404 жыл бұрын
with all due respect. The changes kangook made have nothing to do with you. Kangook has been listening to deaths and complaints for around 5 years. All they have done until now have been to blame the customer for not stowing brakes properly. Even after a few deaths. A few years ago they made some velcro netting pieces to patch the problem but they charged $100 for them. It is great that David finally made some changes after years of criticism. The new changes look good and I don't think that anyone really cares if the three pieces match. In reality, when you break a section, you end up ordering one anyway.
