You’re all correct. The answer, as always, is in the middle. A company umbrella allows multiple people to work under a brand that represents excellence. However, talent is always differentiated. It also comes out to who is requested most, who is full time vs part time and more. A lot of variables, but there is an answer in between

Definitely sharing price right from the jump will save yourself time. Why waist time with setting up the consultation, when on the phone they want the price up Front. Especially if they are laying out exactly what they want.

price is the first thing i share, I don't want to waist anyones time. works well for me.

I understand the Webb model. His model also gives brides a chance to still have a good DJ if the don’t have the budget for Webb or some of the higher priced DJ’s . It works either way.

My company has 5 DJs, all the DJ's have the same price . I make it clear on our site that we are all equally good.

I think everyone should be charge the same. Djs are representing the company they work for not themselves. When customers hire a dj company, they look at the company reputation not the dj. It's all about their special event. If a company has good reputation, they won't care who the Dj is. I feel a better system. You all charge the same, but if one dj has more demand and gets requested more, then add an additional fee, and that extra fee or part of it can go that dj. Than way it looks like the customer is paying extra for that dj and not the company. This way the other djs won't feel of lesser value, but will get inspired to be better. Just my 2 cents

There are a lot of variables, but for one example, if Rick is trying to capture a broad range of wedding budgets, then having DJs at different pay structures can help him have a wide range of package prices.
