I've made mistakes, i am not perfect and I only express myself to hope that I save some man's life. I've lived in Vietnam, Oceana, and soon Thailand. That is just background. I just want to drive three points home. 1) NEVER tell anyone and I mean anyone what your real wealth / savings are, not even the police in converstian. Not once will it ever help only possible hurt you. This applies in capital letters to a Bargirl, GF, Wife or female friend. Always just say "if live on my pension" and if you aren't retired yet because you are young, just say something minimal to explain your income "I rent out my old house in my old country to live in Thailand". Believe me every Thai girl girl wants to how much money you have even if she's not doing aerobics on top of you. 2) When/IF you ever get a GF or wife, you feel you must tell her something about your stability. Take whatever your entire wealth is and divide to 33% and give her that number. Even that should be enough to safisfy her acceptance of your ability to provide. Just don't tell her about the other 2/3rds . 3) if you live with a Thai wife or a live-in GF sooner or later you are going to make the mistke or need to hand her you bank card to pay for something or get cash from the ATM. Don't want for that day to happen, it will happen. make sure that you have the bulk of your money in another bank so that she cannot EVER find out where and how much money you have and gosh for sure never put all you money in a Thai bank account that she knows about or has access to other than that 33% factor. 80% of American women divorce their husbands. Do you really believe Thai women won't do the same? Do be a Big DumbAss, have a Plan B and make sure Plan B has funding no GF / Wife knows about. It give the same advice to any man in the USA, it's not a matter of IF catastrophic problem will happen your relationship, it's a matter of WHEN.

I was married 7 years with a Thai. Had a kid, built a house, car and did everything right but one fine day she just decided to call it off and go with a man from Finland twice her age just because he spends more. I lost everything because the law is biased and lawyers are parasites that suck up everything one has. I'm still here fighting for my kid although I'm no more in my best financial situation condition. I take every chance to tell my kid that I'm still here for her although I'm going thru parental alienation. I live in a one bedroom accomodation most working thais stay in and survive on 100baht a day. So think twice when you wanna get involved with a thai. There are some very rare gems out there still but most are just down to get your money...trust me...i know

If you're going into a no strings attached relationship that involves money for intimacy then treat it like a business transaction. Keep the emotions out 2. If you're investing on a woman in Thailand... don't put all your eggs in one basket. Leave a couple out as a safety back up plan if you need to retreat and save yourself out. Only invest on what you're willing to loose. Take this advice from a man who's lost out on everything and still fighting for his kid. Everything else is gone...

I lived in Chalong Phuket for 4.5 years, if you want to find a "normal " Thai girl, go to school to learn to speak Thai, avoid going to bars with girls, they all talk and if you're known to visit these places, no normal girl will touch you, if you can speak Thai, very easy to chat up a cashier at a supermarket and get dates, I had dates with teachers, doctors, supermarket girl, a shop manager, very easy if you can speak Thai

I'm a Thai guy. I will tell you that older Thai ladies who have more experience in their lives with the age between 30 or more might become a better couples to older Westerners. It's because these ladies know what should they do comparing to younger ladies and many of them are more traditional, good housewife. Don't try to find the ladies in the nightclub. Women are everywhere. Go to the night market or shopping street and talking to the ladies wearing formal dress. Many of them are single and having quite a good job. These ladies are smart and looking for a serious relationship. Be nice to them if you're looking for a good wife. Asian ladies normally look younger than the Western ladies, so you will not regret to date her or attempt to have her as your wife. Be a gentleman, you need to take care of the bills even though some ladies want to share the bills. Since these ladies have their jobs, you don't need to support all of their expenses. Looking for older middle class ladies. After you marry her, both of you can manage your family expenses together because of two sources of income. Similar to the woman anywhere, they are looking for a good husband suitable for them. Many of Thai ladies are looking for older guys, but not too old comparing to her age. The age difference normally about 5-10 years, but it can increase up to 20 years. Higher age gap makes it more difficult to live together due to culture differences. Such problems become more severe when there is language barrier. Thai ladies understand these problems well, so it affects their decision a lot.

Thanks. Genuinely interesting, especially the prices etc. I’m in my 40s, not triggered! Recently, I wandered into a Thai massage parlour in my local town in the UK - for the first time. Ironically, it was a pretty 29 year old who told me she was new, just doing it for a few weeks. Within a couple of dates, it was can I help her start a business, support her. I later found out she was saying the same things to other local men. Gotta hand it to Thai women, they are very focused on their game. I lived in Thailand for 2yrs I had a car and toured the whole country. The best girls are away from the tourist areas but then the language barrier is the issue. It's true that there are many older Thai women that are very fit and attractive for their age. The only thing that I would add is the same holds true for a guy and he will have many more options.

You nailed it. I am a Thai guy. If you look for a long term relationship, go to North or North East or sometime even Bangkok (some scenarios such as office working environment) . If you look for a short term relationship, go to tourist areas. Keep in mind that this is not a guaranteed. However, if you got the right women, Thai women are very good at housekeeping, cooking and etc. Most of Thai women that get into a relationship with 'Farang' are mostly looking for a reliable couple in both financial and honesty where some Thai guys are lack in those.

Don’t think you put it in so many words but basically you are paying for the illusion. The girls will love you, take care of you etc as long as you are willing to pay. Once the money dries up, they are gone. So why not be sensible, meet them casually at first, see if you enjoy being together (whether that is in bed or out). Then set up a regular arrangement where you meet couple of times a month (or week if you prefer). Point is you are paying for the time spent together and nothing else (and as a regular you can haggle for a discount, this is a culture where haggling is the norm). Maybe you even want to spend a night together or an occasional weekend, the basic concept is you pay for the time together leaving the rest of her life to be her responsibility. And you are being realistic about the romantic side. She may grow to actually like you and care about you but it is still a business relationship and as such you pay for her company regardless, that is just common courtesy. O and someone mentioned about getting a reputation if you go to the go go bars, bar girls etc. well why not go to Pattaya or Bangkok or wherever, play around, get that out of your system and then go somewhere completely different and start afresh. Just a thought.

This is very true - pretty much what happened to me in Patong. My suggestion would be to avoid paying up -front if you can , because once you've invested a large amount , you feel obliged to pay the next cost they come up with ( hospital bills for the child's accident at school, for example)

Met a early 30’s professional thai lady in Chiang mai. Her husband passed away, but she has a good job. Very traditional and conservative, can speak English excellent. 13 years younger than me. But beautiful, kind and very loving. She was only interested in being with me if we loved each other- (got that covered) and dedicated to the idea of a lifelong marriage. We made an agreement together to always speak clearly and specifically what we were thinking and feeling for the good our our relationship. It’s been wonderful. I've been coming to Thailand for over 7 years. I've worked in Bangkok for nearly 2 1/2 years. I don't disagree with anything that's stated in this video. It's brutally spot on. Many Farang pack "stupid" in the bag to Thailand just like underwear but there is a cure for "stupid" with a little education like you shared with us. I continue to learn every week here. Have I wasted thousands and thousands of baht (almost each month) ? Yes, certainly. Am I smarter than I was in 2015? I sure am. Am I still enamored by Thai girls ? WIthout a doubt I am. Will I get over that anytime soon? I hope not ... 555. Just be smart guys. And be fair and honest. There is absolutely no reason not to be brutally honest with these girls. They are quite street smart and certainly not stupid in the same sense we are. You won't hurt their feelings and if they pretend you do, you didn't need them anyway. What you get from these girls is not true affection. You never will because you are not family, their family is elsewhere. The sooner you learn that the better life will be for you. So in conclusion, you don't have to stop seeing Thai girls or stop paying Thai girls just remember you need to stop thinking they may actually love you in return. Maybe they honor you to some extent because you chose to help them but "love you" and truly place you above others? Never. If you get what you want and she gets what she wants and you are clear with each other, life is good. There is definitely opportunity for that mutual benefit and satisfaction to occur. Hey.... Please share the video about the perils of investing in a Thai house or Thai investment in any form. That's stupidity squared !!! [uhhh.... I've done that too !! shh..]

Mostly true, I always tell guys to go to Thailand with only a few bucks and see how much they really like you. But in Western countries, you're paying for it too. Especially if you get married... you're liable to lose everything. Still, there are some genuine girls there, but if they speak English well and you meet in a tourist hotspot, it's likely she's been doing these love scams for a while.

This is an honest account and lines up with what I’ve found. However, I have been with a Thai gal for about 5 years now and have supported her monthly here in Chiang Mai. I met her within a couple of days of being here at a hotel she was cooking at. If she made more money than I, I wouldn’t be paying anything but the fact is, though she now owns her own food booth, she would be barely scraping by without my help. When I met her she had only two changes of clothes though she previously owned her own fairly successful brick and mortar restaurant for 5 years prior. She is a talented vegan chef. I am happy to help make her life better financially as she does mine with being a friend, team mate, confidante, lover, cultural guide, partner etc. It just works for us. I pay her 30,000 baht a month and she gets lunch when we are out and about, half the time. In the past with my previous relationship in the states, I took care of most of the bills as well, as I made more money. No big deal. Ps. She is 37 I’m 61. We get along great. Ps. Though I am fit and have a healthy sex drive, hers is higher. She helps keeps me in shape! Ha.

So, if you do that, you have to be very discreet. They will also want to know if you've been to Thailand before because they are trying to weed out the players. Be a stand-up guy & treat them well and you will probably be shocked at how great a girl you can get. Obviously avoid the bar girls and if anyone asks for money, block them immediately. Once you've found one you really like, I suggest taking your profile off the dating site and tell her you've done that and you're only talking to her. She should remove her profile also at that point. If she doesn't, that's a red flag.

Do they still keep their citizenship of their country or drop it? OK, I've been living in Thailand for 15 years and been with the same girl for 12 years. A bit of advice for you, learn the language, speak, read and write, no it's not easy, but it is worth the effort if you're going to live here. You don't have to be fluent, but if you're somewhat conversational at least it goes a long way.

Great Video, was in Pattaya Dec. 2019 for a week. Watched KZbin videos for 6 months before, what and what not to do, how to bargain. I was 65 in good shape, found a great bar to hang out in right outside of Walking street. Lots of English speaking men ( I'm American ). Best bet is beach Rd. I went for ladies 30-50. free lancers. Had a great time. Your Video is spot on. PS: You can bargain almost on anything, cabs, women, accessories. NEVER TALK POLITICS OR GET DRUNK.

I came to Phuket last October, I had met a girl on Thai Friendly and we met the 2nd day I arrived. She was in Patong and I was further North. We met and I got us a hotel room, but first she showed me Patong, took me to her favorite restaurant and made dinner for me, we went down Bangala road and some other fun places. I bought her a dress and we had fun. Then we spent the night together and she was fun, she showed me around the next day and it was fun, but then one day was enough and she did not wish to come see me, so we parted ways. She wanted me to support her, but I was in the States, and so it was just a fun time.

Hey Matt I'm not sure if I really agree with that completely,,,, I personally never really experienced that myself back in North America any relationship that I was in was pretty close to being 50/50 on things. all of my buddies and coworkers and essentially the people in my sphere of influence all had the same experience that I did I do know that yes there's some gold digging lazy b****** back home But not to the degree where I'm explaining in this video look here you come and you essentially make a transaction with someone we're up front you find someone who's absolutely beautiful that you're unbelievable attracted to and it doesn't matter if she's attracted to you or not you work out a arrangement where you're going to pay her to have sex with you and be there when you want her there and then it's up to you as to what you're willing to accept her to do etc etc.... but I can certainly see the frustration that a lot of guys have with women back in North America but at the end of the day most of them are just dating the wrong person. I'm in a bit of a strange situation. I recently spent 4 months in Thailand split between Phuket and Pattaya and met a bar girl my last few weeks in Pattaya. She told me some things about herself that were hard to believe like being from a well off family and just working there to make money from drinks. Never drank alcohol only juice and would only have 4 or 5 all night. Never went with customers, and some offered up to 20K baht. I thought she was just using some sort of angle with me until she rode to Bangkok with me to the airport. We stopped at the condo her parents bought for her when she was 16, I met her mom and she told me how they've traveled the world. The mom even said I was welcome to stay at any of their condo's for free my next time out. Also in the taxi on the ride from Pattaya she told me about the several businesses she owned, and the monthly income of one of them, which was the same amount I made when I worked in the states. Anyway I'm going back to Bangkok to stay with her at her condo in a few days. The strangest part is we never hooked up because when I first met her she seemed innocent ( for lack of a better word) and told me she never goes with customers. I never asked if she did. Just once after tying one on I asked her back to my place and she shot me down. A week later though I'd start getting random requests to stay at my place but every time she asked I already had a gf over. I can't help but think there's some sort of catch to all this. Guess I'll find out soon enough though.
