I want to move my outside condenser 120 feet, away from my back sun room. Your video was informative.

I want to move my AC unit about 4-6 feet to the right, to allow for an exterior door to be put into my laundry room. The AC unit is blocking where i want the door to go currently. Im in a new build so I'm hoping it will be an easy move. In TX.

Was quoted 15k to move my furnace/handler 4 feet... it would be a reduction in line, adding gas and vent... 4 feet... $15k... shifting the duct work, not even adding new, just shift it. Crazy.

We bought an older house with the AC unit located in the attic with the ductwork running throughout the attic as well. And a heat pump that is located outside the house. Would it be possible to relocate the AC unit from the attic to the outside of the house? Any feedback or info would be appreciated. Thanks.

The heat pump IS the outdoor portion of the AC unit unless you have multiple systems

We have 2 units. One on each side of the house. 1 stopped working and I want to swap places because the one get's used way more. How much do you think it would cost to just swap both units with all the necessary hook ups already there?

They would have to be identical units or that opens a much bigger basket of questions. I recommend fixing the broken one.

Need to raise my compressor 12 inches above the wet ground which does not drain properly. In a large storm I could end up with 5 inches of standing water. So I think a pump out, line set bend and splice and compressor stand is what I would need. What's a fair price for that job?

Depends on a few variables, but under a thousand should be safe

I have the opportunity to purchase a new outdoor ac unit for central air. I currently have central heat but not air. Is it a good idea to purchase the outside unit and pay someone to install it?

No it is not. The outdoor unit is only part of the AC system and very few companies will warranty equipment they did not supply.

@@fireiceheatingandaircondit4363 Wow that’s something because my grandpa keeps his thermostat set at 78or76 and it feels like 68or66 plus his air conditioner is always running

Would make sense to move an old HVAC unit even though in efficient far better than the new shit that you see

You could break seals moving an old AC around. A quality installer can put in a good unit to last
