Great video Highlands, I stand by the Elegoo Saturn original it is such a work horse and way cheaper now as well. I would like to get a hold of some Siraya resin in the future I have seen good things from it. This is a great guide on how to print minis and showing the cost 😁

Nice video :) but why use acetone before going to the isopropyl alcohol bath?

Thank you! We use acetone as a first quick wash to remove the excess of resin and other dirt in the printed miniature so we can use the alcohol bath for a longer period of time before replace it.

I would add the cost of the time to clean, prepare the stl, the assembling.....it takes time,a lot of time.

Oh for sure! We didn't add that value as it comes as part of the hobby for a personal use. But the people who sell printed miniatures profesionally should take into account the labour hours to the final price!

I work on the principal that whatever time it takes pre and post printing, it is still faster than snipping and building plastic miniatures and the removing all the mould lines.
